I crush up 2-3 nuggets of the meal topper daily on my terrier's dry food in the morning. I think he knocks over his water dish as a way of telling me he wants these as night too.

Message to my fellow picky pup pawrents — I’m thrilled to say this is the chosen one! My Havanese is borderline annoyingly selective with food. If you’ve got a dog who treats most meals like a suggestion rather than a necessity, you know the struggle. But this freeze-dried topper finally earned his paw of approval. The package felt surprisingly light, even for a freeze-dried product. But once opened, I was happy to see it was full of generously sized nuggets. Knowing my pup, I couldn’t just drop a whole nugget on top of his kibble as he’d eat that and leave the rest untouched. Thankfully, these nuggets are incredibly easy to crumble. I broke up two nuggets into small bits and sprinkled them over his bowl. He sniffed and I held my breath... he devoured the whole thing with a clean bowl in record time! No more sore fingers from crushing other dog treats as toppers as this one crumbles like a dream and it works like a dream too! ✅ Highlights: Picky-dog approved — a rare win! My dog does enjoy these, and I like that they’re freeze-dried, but the ingredients aren’t as clean as I expected for the price. There are a few extras I usually try to avoid in treats and toppers. The pieces are also extremely dry — they basically crumble into dust unless you add warm water, which turns them into more of a mushy topper than a treat. They’re fine once hydrated, but definitely not something I can give straight out of the bag. Overall, they work well as a meal enhancer and my dog likes the taste, but I wish the ingredients were simpler and that the texture wasn’t so dry.

I thought the price point is high…but I crumble these on top of a very picky eater’s food and she gobbled up her food. Golden retriever approved

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to come on here and say that my dog absolutely loves this stuff! He’s a super picky eater and he has a sensitive stomach and isn’t a big fan of his kibble. I tried this as a topper to “kick start his kibble” and what used to be his disinterest in his food has become the part of the day that he looks forward to and it’s super easy on his stomach. The bag also lasts a long time because I take 4-5 pieces and crush it over his kibble. He loves it!

not all dogs are the same, but they have beef and chicken and I believe salmon you can get in this particular brand our dogs like chicken and they like beef but salmon oil only for one dog not product
