Musk By Royal Copenhagen For Men, Cologne Splash 8 Fl Oz

I have tried a lot of different colognes over the years but I always come back to Royal Copenhagen I love this classic scent. I was introduced to it by my father in law 40 years ago and have been wearing it ever since. My wife loves it. I’m a doctor and wore it in my office for many years. Since retiring I still wear it every day. The musk has a slightly different smell than the cologne I love them both. It’s a classic scent. I have a draw full of some very expensive colognes but I choose to wear this one. My wife like it on me as well. The scent last all day.

THIS IS THE ONLY FRAGRANCE MY HUSBAND WILL WEAR!! HE SMELLS DELICIOUS! HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. I HAVE 7 BOTTLES PUT AWAY FOR CHRISTMAS. HE WILL BE A HAPPY CAMPER!!

My husband loves the smell of musk, and when I found this for one of his Christmas presents, I bought it right away. I sure picked the right cologne because he has worn it every day since.

This product was a gift for my husband, and while it was a gift for my husband lets face it we kind of have to both enjoy the smell :-) We both like a good musk cologne, and while this was a good product, and had excellent quality, it was not the right type of musk. It carries a bit too much of linen type overtones in the cologne that squash the musk smell, which for us kind of defeated the purpose. So for us, it was a smell preference, there was nothing wrong with the quality of the product, which as I said was excellent, it wears very well, and for a long time.

For the price per oz hard to beat. Additionally it smells just as good as more expensive colognes.

I would probably call this more of an aftershave than anything else. I splash this stuff on behind my ears and in some other spots where I don't put my main scent. It doesn't last all that long in the scent department, has a somewhat aftershavey smell to it, not bad mind you, just not complex and intriguing. I mainly use this to scent up my bed sheets and other things that don't require a top notch smell. I also use it on stuff that doesn't get washed too often like my beanies and the neck on my coats. It keeps them smelling better until they get a wash cycle. There is a use for everything. I've only owned a few colognes in my time; Hugo Boss (the original, my current scent), Cool Water (Too weak and not manly enough for me), Polo Sport (not my type), Tommy Hilfiger (the first type they released, not my type), and Batman (from the dollar store, I had a girlfriend who loved it years ago back in the 90's, it was just a little bottle with a Batman sticker on it). Of those, the Boss is my favorite but doesn't even remotely smell like what I would design for me. Still looking for something with a deep musky back and a strong green/cinnamon middle with a mild citrus top (I'm guessing obviously, that might smell disgusting).

A classic musk but very light scent wise. Very refreshing after a shave. A big ole bottle mace from heavy glass.
