As comment's say yes they do smell, however it doesn't last. I left mine outside for a few days before putting in the car, been in a week now and the smell almost gone. Also they definitely don't slip

Bargain price for fairly decent and durable car mats. I use these rubber mats on the top of good quality carpet mats. Combined they will hopefully last the distance and also look good too.

Good pair of overmats that fit well over manufacturers carpet mats,will be easy to clean . Just let them air in a room overnight before putting in car if you don't want 'new rubber mat smell' only just started using so can't comment on durability, but they seem to be well priced
