We bought these to quiz our grandsons in math and found them to be exactly what we needed. No need to try to conceal the answers, because they're on the back of the cards, not on the front as with many others. The set is quite good, with problems from easy to hard, and by sorting the cards we're able to drill kids in various grade levels. The cards are also nice and sturdy. Overall, an excellent product.

Great visual practice to learn facts

I've seen it all, but what I wanted was old-school flash cards -- the problem on the front, same problem-and-answer on the back. One problem per card. That's it, and that's what this is. Perfect. They've worked GREAT; I can run the drills, or the student can drill him- or herself. Yes, of course it's important that they understand the REASONING behind the multiplying and dividing, but it's equally important that those multiplication and division facts are deeply embedded to free up cognitive energy for more complicated maths later. These flash cards are a great, simple tool to get us there.

You can easily sort this into different groups to make learning easier for your child. Sturdy cards with only one fact on each. Some complained that you could see through the card but you can easily place your hand over the bottom so that your child cannot see the answer but can still see the equation.

Just what it looks like with nice thick cards you cannot see through. I tutor a number of students in algebra I, II and precalc and find they can't divide or do fractions with any numbers greater than 5 so I use this to get them up to speed for the first five minutes of a session before starting the algebra and their grades take off. Modern US education theory is so focused on learning concepts (which are actually pretty easy) and so worried about students being bored that the basics get ignored. Modern HS students can't add, subtract, divide, or multiply without a calculator so simple stuff takes them forever and they get frustrated. I used these with my kids who then went on to Kumon through calculus which drilled them mercilessly. They hated it at the time but now they are in college they tell me they are very grateful as they work with lab partners who can't do anything without a calculator and take forever to do simple things.

So far these cards have gotten weekly usage. They are clear and easy to read, they handle well. Sometimes I do the flash cards and sometimes I get the kids to do them with each other. There is just one point that could be improved - in certain lighting situations, you can see through them to the answer on the back, so I try to use them with the other cards behind them.

Love these division flash cards and the multiplication flash cards too by the same creator. For my oldest child, I created flash cards. This was worth the price in saved time because you have all of the individual equations on each card and not different equations on the front and back. Covers all combinations from 0-12. Really good for reviewing all at once or in intervals 0s, 1s, 2s, etc. Highly recommend the cards. Didn't take long for my 8 year old to master division. My child completed multiplication and division while classmates were still on multiplication. Don't make your child wait on the rest of the class to catch up. These cards will help you get there faster if your child is motivated or for kids that want to take their time level by level. Schools now barely spend time teaching multiplication and/or division, but require mastery. Get these cards to help your child get ready.

It is so easy to start out with the answer side to orally drill the kids, and then move on to flashing them with the blank side. These are easy to organize and flash cards from specific number groups because there is only one fact per card. They are set up like a long division problem, so the kids were used to that set up.
