Works great for my Rode mic

This fit the "RØDE Auxiliary VideoMic GO Lightweight On-camera Shotgun Microphone" perfectly, sits on top of my a6400 in the cold shoe and does not get in the way. Eliminates wind noise on all but the windiest of days.

Love the name of this and it works great. It’s a little longer than I need, but that’s ok.

Overall works like a dead cat should. Worked on my rhode go mic shotgun ( the cheaper version) and boya shotgun which is “bassier” So it helps cut down wind rumble.... Might have wind noise that comes from the back where mini jack connects to mic.... I found if you pull and stretch the cat as far back and fluff it up in the back it helps. Did what I needed it to do.... it’s not all encompassing of the mic but then you would need a Zepplin and a full dead cat. Value for outfitting two dslrs for 20 bucks was spot on.

This came as a recommended addon to my Rode mic. It's WAY too big, so I use a ziptie to hold it on. It's does the job it's supposed to I guess. I gave it three stars simply because Amazon recommended it and now I use an ugly ziptie to make sure it doesn't fall off the mic.

The dead cat arrived earlier than expected. It fits the Rode microphone. I haven't had the chance to test it in high winds yet.

Works perfect for smaller mic's. My mic's are about 6" long and this covers the perfect area for them. Overall a tight fit, but they work well. Will continue to use.

I got this wind cover for my Deity Vmic D3 Pro shotgun microphone. When shooting handheld in the wind, it works great. If you're still getting wind noise after using this on your mic, either your microphone isn't very good or it's too windy and you need a blimp. Even blimps won't block out wind noise if it's too windy.

Does NOT fit the rode mic that it claims to fit. Useless.
