Worked great at band rehearsal in the dusty studio!
I have a decently good singing voice, but whenever we practice in our friends bottom floor band studio, for some reason I would get choked up and start coughing when I would sing - although not even 30 minutes before, upstairs in the bedroom practicing my voice sounded really good. I tried grethers pastiles, allergy pills, hydrating so much I thought I would need to wear a diaper to get through the rehearsal but NOTHING HELPED. I got these vocalzone lozenges as a last resort for last Tuesday band practice. I was a bit worried at first because they had a bit of menthol in them but it ended up just helping me. My voice sounded as good in the dusty bandroom as it had upstairs, with NO tickle and NO coughing. In fact, my BF, who is one of the guitar players, told me how great I sounded vocal wise and I told him about these lozenges. (My kudos fell upon deaf ears because "his voice never gets affected by dust" but he was glad they worked for me. I highly highly highly recommend BUT I also recommend that if you using them for singing, don't overuse them in general - as they may not work if you do too many at one time. I took an allergy pill in the AM and then the lozenge about an hour before I sang and that was perfect !!

These really work!
These were recommended by my choir director. No other throat pastilles have ever worked like this. It clears the cobwebs within minutes. I’m so happy to have found these.

Must have
A favorite for keeping my mouth and throat from getting too dry while singing. Can’t be without them!

They seem to help!!!
They seem to help! I only used them 2x but it did loosen the tightness and clear my voice. Not 100%, but they worked pretty well. A lot of people complained about the taste, and it wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad either.

Like high-grade oil on a rusted engine.
This is my go-to when my throat is at its cold-ravaged or allergy-raked worst. When the pills aren't doing it, when the cough syrup is failing me, and when even the best medicine just isn't soothing my throat . . . this is what I reach for. And I place an emphasis on the originals, on the black ones. The others are fine, but the black ones really get the job done. They don't taste medicinal. (We all know there's a time, day three or four, when you just get sick of medicine.) They smell a little skunky, I'll admit, but taste like licorice. It's not too sweet, not too sour. It's the Goldilocks cough drop, just right. All I can say is trust me, you want this close when your throat hurts and you're desperate for some relief.

Works quickly and effectively
I sing regularly and have tried a lot of concoctions for soothing and clearing the throat, but this by far works the best and fastest for me. I felt the effects within the first 5 minutes of taking one. It helped clear up any congestion and opened up my breathing passageways better than anything else I’ve tried. That being said, it does take about 15-20 minutes for the pastille to dissolve completely. You can definitely taste ths menthol, so if you have an aversion to that smell or flavor then these may not be for you.

Flavor
I was so excited about this product but, I am really disappointed. The flavor is awful and so strong that is impossible to have it in your mouth more than a minute. I would ask for my money to be refunded but I know it can't be done since I opened the package and tried it. I am giving 1 star review because is the only way to leave a review but honestly does not deserve any.

Unremarkable
I was interested in these because myrrh is very anti-inflammatory, so I hoped it would be extremely soothing to the throat. Unfortunately I found that these are not as effective as a $3 value bag of eucalyptus cough drops (about $0.07 each). For $0.28 each, Vocalzone throat drops are 4x more expensive. The taste isn't as horrible as many people say -- honestly they just taste kind of like weed. They are interestingly chewy as well. They sure make me look cool, like I know how to string a bass or read sheet music or something, but overall I don't think I'll purchase again.

Great for singers
I sing a lot and couldn't manage without these. If I have one before I sing they're really effective at clearing the pipes and warming up. Possibly an acquired taste but I like them. Would recommend.

As advertised, not candy
Don't get the complaints about taste, they aren't candy. They get rid of my minor cough before sitting down to record. Soothes throat for about 3 hours. As advertised, will buy going forward
