I bought some from a catalogue company that I've ordered from for years. I also went into a store around me and had to order them. I wound up returning all of the sheets. Not only were they thin, they also weren't very soft. After they were washed a few times they shrank and started slipping off the mattresses when they were adjusted. The Malouf sheet set has been washed a few time and still fits the bed well. They are much softer than the sheets I returned.I was prepared to order another set but wasn't prepared for the price increase of $30.00 over the price I had paid a month before. These sheets are ample size, and when brand new were incredibly silky and soft. The sheets were still very soft after washing, but they lost the lovely silky feel they had before washing. The sheets do come out of the dryer fairly wrinkled, but they are well made and should last for quite a while.
