I have tried nearly every pen Amazon has for rock painting. This pen is fantastic. It writes/draws easily and smoothly. The colors are opaque, so you don't typically need multiple coats. They have a fine enough point you can create detail, without them being so fine that the paint doesn't fliw, skip, or dry up stuck on the pen tip. And the paint fries fast and doesn't easily smear or dip when applying. And, the pens don't leak (because another popular brand does leak). I highly recommend you try these. They should cost more because they work so well, better than you would reasonably expect for a set of low-cost pens. They're a high quality pen.

I’ve ordered and received the 12 extra fine point pens and the 8 basic + 8 metallic brush pens. I’ve tried maybe 5 other brands, both fine/extra fine point and brush pens, including some dual tips. They all left me wanting much better. However, I’m not interested in paying lots of money on this stuff either. The colors are nice, though the brush pens required layering on Kraft card (I’ve not tried anything else yet). Not a problem for me as sometimes that’s the look I may go for. The brush pens all work well with consistent paint and flexible nibs. The extra fine point pens work well but watch out for splatters if you press too hard on a more textured paper, like a Kraft card. I’m a bit new to acrylic paint pens so this is my user error and not the pens themselves. Artistro solved my dilemma by making great paint pens that don’t bust my budget. They’re not super cheap but you get what you pay for on these things. I believe these are worth the extra little bit without paying even more for a more popular and expensive brand. I did have a problem with one of the extra fine point pens and contacted the company. Customer support responded quickly and to my satisfaction. I had contacted another company and still have yet to hear back from them so I was tickled with Artistro’s quick response and care. An extra note— not something I’ll take off a star for because I’m pleased overall and this is likely my own personal preference— the extra fine point pen colors are labeled on the pen caps. The brush pens, however, have no color identification. The package lists the color names so it’s okay but I might be slightly disappointed that colors are not labeled on the pens themselves. That’s a problem almost everywhere so I’m sure I’m dreaming but I’m legally blind and need help identifying many colors. All of that to say— I’ve not tried all their pens yet but I can safely and happily recommend Artistro paint pens.

Good pens, write very well, so skips. Colors ok. Just not great. Definitely could be more glittery. I have pens that were less expensive that have more glitter. These were not cheap.

I was really impressed by the ease of use. The markers dry fairly quickly. The color is nice.

These are great quality pens. I do a lot of mixed media so I put them on different things and they work great the point is very sharp and hard so it doesn't smush. Very impressed by these I also bought the metallics and I like those as well

Love these pens, just as beautiful in person as they showed in the pictures.

The paint is very thin in consistency, requiring multiple passes to make a thick enough line to actually see. And of course, it has to dry in between passes. Great if you’ve got nothing but time on your hands, but terrible for people like me with zero patience and a deadline on the project it was being used for. The colors are lovely, but it does require a lot more layering than anticipated.

These were very good markers, And the coloring was neat, no smudges on paper but it's a bit messy for your hands since when you smudge it smudges your finger and not the paper the colors are very good, especially the golden, silver and, white. white was very good if you wanted to highlight a drawing for realism, silver could also be used for highlights(realism) or calligraphy writing, golden is great for making a letter for someone on a paper envelope or a card on paper and signing "happy birthday" or signing your name with a heart, the rest can be used for coloring, very impressed with the markers. definitely Recommended to buy!

The paint is vibrant and smooth. These are a great paint pen. These work very well as embellishments over both wax based and oil based pencils in adult colouring books which is what I bought them for. Recommended. But something to be aware of, it takes a LOT of pumps to get the paint going so if the paint isn't coming out, keep pumping. LOL.
