Vert Elbow Pads - Black

I'm 45 and 240 pounds and just took up skateboarding with my kid. These pads have saved me from some really bad falls. the pad is large and think, and very comfortable; but not so big you cant maneuver. Force is transferred from the elbow across the forearm and shoulder very evenly. No fear of putting my arm into the fall.

They fit absolutely perfect

I got these for my young teenage child skateboarder. She (yes - She), has thinner legs, but is definitely not a child. I ordered a Medium for her and it does appear as though I got the right size. The Velcro straps allow you to adjust the tightness of the pads; one upper and one lower strap. The pad shell is made of a hard plastic shell. Looks like it should do the job (protection from falls). I bought this brand because of the excellent reviews I read on it and can now agree that these pads are good. I was say if you're an Adult, that you should consider getting the pads in a Large or Extra Large, and if you're ordering them for a young child that the Youth size or small would be more appropriate.

This is my second pair of elbow pads buying and I decided to go with this brand it seems like it had really good material and was built really well. I have not fallen on these yet but I feel very safe with them and my elbow feels very secure.

These are nice pads in regards to being safe; however, they're really bulky when compared to normal pads. My old pair were small enough to conceal under a long sleeve shirt and were still comfy comfy and did what they needed to.

They did there job I have crashed in them several times they are taking a beating and I am not. The fabric is starting to tear and stuff but that’s expected better it than me.

I use these for roller derby. The fit is not great and they slide down a bit, but derby players rarely fall on their elbows, so it's not a big enough deal for me to return or buy others. I would honestly prefer a brand that fit a bit better.

I have tried several brands of protective wear and this is the best! It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Very comfortable, not itchy, very solid protection if/when you fall... which I have tested.

Je les utilise au quotidien sur Gyroroue. L’apprentissage de la gyro a été douloureux me concernant: J’ai eu l’occasion de les « tester » lors de chutes (je suis un peu casse cou !). Rien à déplorer pour mes coudes dès lors :)

Bought after falling off bike and making a mess of elbow and arm. The sizing guide is accurate - it showed me as being at the upper end of medium, and that is how they fit. They are quite sturdily made. They cover about half the circumference of the arm, and are attached by four stretching bands which go across the back, two of which are velcro fastened. In use you hardly notice they are there. They don't cause sweating. They are quite thick and medium firm in the padding. The fabric is a medium grade of nylon or similar, fairly strong weave. There's a plastic piece riveted onto the padding. You wear them with the wider part uppermost, and they fit without restricting movement. I haven't had experience of them in an accident but would expect the hard shell to protect well against grazing and the quite firm padding to absorb impact. So quite pleased.

Utilizo estas protecciones para iniciarme al Roller Derby y puedo decir que la relación calidad-precio es fantástica. La rodillera está bien acolchada y al caer al suelo se reduce mucho el impacto. Como de costumbre, el servicio de Amazon impecable: llegó muy rápido y puntual. Muy satisfecha con la compra. Como consejo: es importante saber la talla exacta de las protecciones para que queden ajustadas y no bailen (en mi caso, tengo una M en rodilleras pero una S en coderas).
