Fun film that keeps the viewer entertained.
Good fantasy story with plenty of action and adventure. Acting is fine, and special effects add to the film's appeal. Worth watching and having.

An action-adventure movie with a sense of humor
A young woman, in the military the Kree Empire, is captured by the Skrull, an evil enemy. (The Skrull have been invading Kree territory.). When the Skrull probe her mind, however, they find memories inconsistent with that of a Kree. The athletic and unusual young woman escapes and makes her way to a primative planet, Earth. There she encounters Nick Fury, a retired army colonel now working at a government agency known as SHIELD. At first Fury considers her crazy; however, when he observes her special powers and encounters the shapeshifting Shrull who have followed her, he is shocked. This movie have good action (particularly good in 3D), consierable humor, and a surprising plot twist. I enjoyed it..

Such a great movie!
This movie is so entertaining! Mandatory viewing (in my opinion) if you have a daughter! The scenes with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson doing his usual fantastic job) and Goose the 'cat' are not to be missed!

My Most Favorite Marvel Super Heroine
Ever since I was collecting Marvel Comics from School Days to-date, I always jumped with joy when I discovered Captain Marvel and would relish reading through the comic to find out which baddie she is going to teach a lesson to. Now, finally, I will get a chance to see her on dvd. I saw the trailer for this wonderful movie on just recently and had already decided I want to buy her dvd. The cover is beautiful and I just know the movie is going to be very enjoyable. Thank you very much, Amazon!.

I would prefer a more gritty version, it's all a bit too clean and the HERO needs roughing up a little to make her interesting.
