Sea to Summit Lite Line Camping and Travel Clothesline

This is another great product from Seat to Summit. I hesitated buying what seemed like a fancy piece of nylon cord, but here's why I really ended up liking it. Flexible design: hook and tackle on one end makes it easy to shorten the cord a bit. Compact: the case is tiny (about 3"x2"x1"); the beads do a good job to keep small items attached without bringing more stuff Lightweight: 1 oz / 28 g. Safe: reflective thread--campers can see this at night with their flashlights Strong: the cord has no problem being pulled taught with wet laundry on it An ultralightweight camera tripod worked great as a stand alone anchor when I weighted it down with a full 2L water bottle. I bet a rollerboard extended handle would work too. A single line (11' at the very longest once you hook it) ought to work for one or two people's laundry, but if you are on the go and have that one day to do laundry or have a small family the single line might not be long enough if you are trying to dry out items so they folded over the line so as to reduce wrinkling. Being able to do laundry anywhere is key to traveling light--this makes it possible to pack only about a week's worth of clothing regardless of the length of the trip! This will be a permanent addition to my vacation travel packing list.

After reading through numerous options and reviews, decided on this clothesline for a 2 week cruise. Did not disappoint and very pleased with it. First of all, love that it is very small and very light weight. Perfect for packing. No worries about the light weight in terms of durability. It’s very strong and had no issues with holding heavy clothing. I personally prefer clothes pins and purchased metal clothes pins to hang the clothes so they wouldn’t be wrinkled. I also bought heavy duty hook magnets (can hold 170 lbs.) and attached them to the walls of my cruise stateroom. Easy to clip/secure the ends of this string to the hooks. When I was hanging a bunch of stuff, I used 4-5 hooks depending on the weight. When I finished, the line easy returns into its little pouch. Glad I found someone recommend this particular line on Cruise Critic!

Plenty long for traveling, this is also plenty small to pack in a carryon.

Definitely came in handy on a trip to Europe. I'm not sure I agree with the common complaint that there are not enough beads - rather than using them in place of clothespins, I just hung the clothes on the line through the dual lines and used the beads as "clothes separators" (because the line will inevitably sag and the clothes will all want to slide to the center). There was surprisingly little to attach the line to in the hotel, especially if you wanted to avoid water drippage on the carpet, so that's a problem someone should solve. I was unclear exactly how the clips were supposed to be used, but I made due.

We’ve used this on camping and fishing trips all over Utah. Lightweight, easy to set up, and strong enough to hold wet clothes and towels. Great quality and super practical — I’d absolutely buy it again.

Awesome product! This is very small and works fantastic when you are camping or need to hang dry your clothes. I took it on a backpacking trip through Europe and this worked very well to hang dry clothes when a dryer was not available. The intuitive sliding beads worked great for our towels where we did not need to just drape our clothes over the line. I also like that it has the storage bag attached to the line so you do not lose it! Thanks for the quality product!

I got this to travel with for work. I hang my clothes on it in my hotel room. Works great and is sting enough to hold the weight of my wet clothes. It packs small enough so I don’t even realize it’s packed in my luggage. I won’t ever travel without this now.

Easy to use, space saver, heavy duty, secure and can be used anywhere. Took this on a 3 week trip in another country, and on a few car camping trips. Suggestion: Consider how you pack it back up to avoid those few frustrating minutes of unraveling the entangled knots it can form.

L'ensemble surprend par ses dimensions (7,5 x 5,5 x 2,5 cm dans la pochette) et son poids réduit (mesuré à 26 grammes) Le fil est très facile à accrocher avec plusieurs options d'attache à chaque extrémité (crochets et taquets) La longueur totale du fil est d'environ 3,3m. Il est possible d'accrocher le linge sans pinces à linge, car le fil est doublé sur environ 2m. Il suffit faire passer le linge entre les deux brins, puis de le sécuriser avec les perles coulissantes (12 en tout, ce qui permet donc d'accrocher au moins ce nombre de vêtements à faire sécher). Je recommande toutefois d'emporter une ou deux pinces à linge en supplément pour plus de souplesse. L'ensemble est solide, le fil étant un cordage en nylon tressé de 2mm, et la pochette en néoprenne.

The quality of the clothes line and bag is very good and I was very surprised by how small and compact it is when packed in its inbuilt storage pouch. Setting up the line is quick and easy, you just need two places to secure the line which is easily done with a loop each end and the inbuilt hook. Lenth adjustment is very easy with the inbuilt cleat and the dual lines and sliding ball system works very well in securing the clothes. This will be invaluable when travelling, especially if you are travelling light and washing clothes frequently.

Attention il vaut mieux acheter un simple fil à 1 euros ça fera le même travail. Les boules ne tiennent pas le linge car aucun moyen de les bloquer. Le fil est tout fin donc si vous mettez plus qu'une paire de chaussettes il ne tient pas tendu. De plus les attaches sont vraiment pas adapté pour le fixer correctement
