Bio Pak

We bought these to use in a camp toilet. These work fine, and the scent does not fill the space where the toilet is set up.

Excellent product. I highly recommend it. Manages oder well and turns everything to liquid for draining, with out chemicals that cannot be removed in the sewage treatment process. We initially had minor odor issues, but have realized that with any cleaner all fans sucking out air from the camper will suck out air form the toilet into the camper. We also realized that the Thetford toiled provides a helpful sealing action when flushing. So in addition to using this or any product: turn off all of the out take fans and close the lid when flushing. I It seems to work well for 5 to seven days, the maximum I wait before emptying the tank. If temperatures are 95 and above for several days you may want to use Porta-Pak a chemical based produce. Finally, a note on the use of bio-pad and cleaning agents: Bleach based products and many other chemical based products will kill the enzyme that is the basis of this product. I use Green Works and this seems to be friendly enough. I use other products to clean the toilet just before I dump. I suspect that some to the less positive reviews may relate to this issue. If you are not going to use "chemical" bast agents you have to use similar cleaners. Most additives on the market will reduce the odor associated with raw sewage, but none willl make it smell like a bed of flowers. This product does a great job and it will not have to be removed during sewage treatment. (In most cases they are not removed, just diluted.) Nor will it harm septic systems. (A final note: When talking with manufactures about sented products they note that the scents are for the customers when they open the package. The scents are totally lost when the product is sent into the tank.)

I am in a remote off grid cabin and have a little camping potty for overnight needs. I have been using it for over a year and never put chemicals or anything but soapy water in it to clean it. But now despite not ever going number 2 in it, it had gotten really stinky to the point that every time I opened the lid to use it, it would stink up the bathroom. I was skeptical but decided to toss one in (with a little water) after cleaning as usual. I am happy to say my potty doesn’t stink up the bathroom anymore. Smiley face! The pouch dissolved quickly and the ‘alpine’ scent is pleasant although not what I expected as a pine scent. But still even though it’s not the alpine I wanted, it still smells clean and fresh. Highly recommended.

Products were great , but delivery package was delivered on the bottom step for everyone to see instead on putting it up by the door .

I didn't think this product would be so effective, especially for the price. I tried several products in my RV's bathroom because there was a constant, unpleasant sewer smell, and I found this product. It's been great for cleaning the black tank; it eliminates the bad smell and keeps the bathroom fresh. When I feel the smell starting, I put two or three balls in the toilet at night, and the smell is gone. Pretty good.

Just like the others from Walex, these are a must for travel trailer life. Easy drop-in use, and the Alpine Fresh scent actually holds up. Keeps things clean and odor-free without any hassle. If you’re on the road, toss a few of these in your kit — total game-changer.

We'd been using Walex TOI-1090250 Porta-Pak Holding Tank Deodorizer and they work great at deodorizing, but we were still having to dump the tank every couple of days, so I thought I'd give these a shot instead. I can say that they do, indeed, digest waste and we can now take longer trips off the grid (up to a week!) but, and this is a big but, we really wouldn't want to because they do not deodorize. Oh they do the trick for the first hour or two, but after that they are useless as a deodorizer, and after a week of digested waste sitting in your tank without a powerful deodorant... putrid is probably the best word to use here. Fear not, however, we've learned that by combining these with Walex TOI-1090250 Porta-Pak Holding Tank Deodorizer that we get the best of both worlds - longer stays off the grid, less dumping, and a manageable odor - even after a week. PROS: * Digests waste for less dumping CONS: * Does not deodorize as advertised SOLUTION: * Combine with Walex TOI-1090250 Porta-Pak Holding Tank Deodorizer for best results.

the product is not good on hard waste, it was ok on tissues only. also we ordered the green pack we received the purple one.

antes de usar este producto entrabamos a la casa despues de trabajar todo el dia y tenia un olor a sanitario que molestaba mucho despues de abrir la ventanas se aminoraba un poco y despues de usar todos los productos de limpieza seguia el olorcito en la casa un dia en la noche al baño de abajo e puse uno de estos cuadritos y otro en donde esta la lavadora al siguiente dia por obra de magia y de los animalitos que trae este producto se acabo el olor practicamente como si fuera magia voy a ver cuanto dura sin oler y les aviso en una siguiente reseña de este formidable producto
