EuChoiz Microwave Steamer - Large size This microwave silicone steamer works really well. It’s sturdy overall and steams food evenly using only a small amount of water. The bottom steamer tray is a bit flimsy, but it still functions fine. The short support legs under the steamer tray only allows a shallow layer of water. Has been very convenient for quick meals. Ran it thru the dishwasher a few time, so far holding strong. Fits about 12 dim sum dumplings, microwaved on high at 8 min w/o issues. The lid does suction onto the bottom after use due to the steam/pressure, so you have to be careful when taking it off. It's collapsible, so that is convenient for storage. We bought this to use in our overhead RV microwave for steaming broccoli and such. We checked the measurements but did not realize it would overload the turntable in the microwave, so immediately, it started hitting on the wall of the microwave and threw water out inside the microwave. We reached in to lift it out and realized that it was quite jiggly and unstable because the bottom flexes quite a bit. We took notice because, if it had been filled with hot liquid, we could have spilled it on ourselves from above our heads. We had to remove the glass plate that goes in the bottom of the microwave and reposition the cookware again. Despite the center motor in the bottom of the microwave turning, we were able to get the food cooked. We had to raise a plate up to the floor of the microwave to try to slide the hot cookware out onto the plate because the bottom of the cookware was flexing and bending even more once heated. The result of the broccoli was delicious but we are not sure about the fit and function of the cookware. We won't be able to use it in this microwave and will take it back home to try in our larger microwave that does not have a turn table. It does look like it will go into the dishwasher at home easily. It is not working sadly for our intended use in the RV. We thought it was pretty neat being collapsible for that use but the other challenges described failed it as a solution for us.

This is my second microwave steamer from this company. My original one, the large size, has served me well for several years, and I love it. This item is the smaller size, which I need now for my apartment's smaller-capacity microwave oven. I'm keeping both sizes, as I'm hoping my next kitchen has a standard-size microwave. The smaller one is handy for steaming smaller portions of vegetables. Be aware that although the listing says this steamer is round, it is actually oval, like the large size. You can see this easier in the photo that shows the insert separately from the body of the steamer. Be sure to measure your microwave's interior width and compare it to the width of the steamer options. The handles are large enough that you can pick up the hot steamer easily, but that means they protrude on each side. I highly recommend this microwave steamer in whatever size works for you. Or do what I did - get one of each. I love the way they collapse for easy storage, and they're dishwasher safe silicone. I bought one for my daughter, and she loves it too.

I LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY! I use this steamer so much. I like how easy it is to clean! It is light and collapsible. It easily fits in my microwave. The bottom rack is easy to remove . The green was a fun color. It is easy to store. But honestly, it just makes prepping my veggies so much easier. I feel like this was a good investment for a healthier diet.

I got hooked on the Ziploc Zip-n-steam bags for cooking fresh and frozen vegetables. But now they seem to have disappeared from the market, so I started looking for an alternative. All the other "steamer" bags are incredibly cheap and poor quality. Then I came across this, and - WOW. It WORKS. It's absolutely perfect for steaming fresh or frozen vegies. The small size works well for two people. I can fix enough fresh or frozen vegies for dinner in about 5-6 minutes, depending on type. I got the large size as well because I wanted an alternative to cooking up chicken for chicken salad in the crock pot (4 hours!). Just tested that today, and it seems to work fine. It took about 15 minutes to do the job, and the chicken is cooked more evenly throughout than in the crock-pot. (For large amounts I'd still use the crock-pot.) One thing on this model - it really IS too large for many microwaves. But there's a simple solution - just cut off the outermost tip of each handle. You'll still have plenty of handle left to hold the steamer, but it will no longer bump into the sides of the microwave as it rotates. Regarding cleaning, my understanding is that you CAN put this in the dishwasher, but I've just been rinsing it out with a soapy sponge - it clean up very fast and easily. As an extra plus, besides no longer having to worry what to do when my supply of steamer bags runs out, this is one more way to reduce my plastic waste and help the environment.

It doesn’t steam evenly.

I was frustrated when my microwave steamer bags were discontinued. I found this gem and I couldn't be happier. I even ordered my brother one and he loves it as well. Be careful when you remove the pot out of the microwave. The steam will come under the lid and burn you. This happens with all microwave cooking so no big deal. I cook with this pot every day. I cooked tuna steaks yesterday in 5 minutes. Awesome please make one in a round.

The collapsible bowl is great and did what it was supposed to do and my daughter and wife loves the color . Thx a lot Amazon and seller.

This is perfect & collapses for easy compact storage. Large enough to steam veggies for 6 people. I was hesitant to buy this because ppl said it was unstable. It is fine. No problem taking it out from a high microwave. If nervous just pop a plate underneath. We use our smaller steamer for the 2 of us but when we have guests ( which is all summer as we live on a lake) this steamer works perfectly. I recommend it....

Perfect for my needs. Enough capacity for 2 people or one big portion. Love that it’s dishwasher safe too. The fold away flattens the dish which is great and the little tray inside means the food doesn’t sit in any water. Really pleased although thought it was a bit pricey so went for cheapest colour. Shouldn’t really make a difference in price but it does. The orange is fine. Fab product and arrived from US in 5 days

I’m very pleased with this steamer. It takes up little space because it’s collapsible but more importantly it steams the vegetables beautifully in the microwave.
