Irritrol R811-24VACG Replacement Solenoid

Faulty wire connection on top of solenoid was causing zone to be skipped or shortened. I could reposition the wire and it would work for a while, but would eventually fail again. Found this replacement solenoid and it fixed the problem. Very easy to replace and it is an exact match for Irritrol 2713APR valve solenoid.

Perfect replacement for my Richdel solenoid.

Not sure if my solenoid was malfunctioning or not because I was getting leaks at the sprinklers all day long but this worked with an older lawn genie inline manifold. The main issue was a manifold gasket needed replacement.

4/5 for now because it appears to be a perfect fit and works. 5th star reserved for ‘will it last’. Easy to install.

Great product, but come to find out, I just didn't need it. I'll be returning it.

I have old Rain Bird valves on my irrigation system which has a different solenoid than the new versions and I couldn't find any old style anywhere. Thanks to a comment in another review, I was able to utilize this solenoid on my valves. As the other review stated, you have to use a knife to cut off the white plastic at the end which retains the solenoid core then it works fine for the Rain Bird. Worked so good, I bought two more to replace all the solenoids while I could get them. Saved me from having to dig up my entire valve box and re-plumb everything.

Ho provato questo solenoide di questa marca per installarla sulle mie valvole della weathermatic , tutto perfetto . l’unica cosa non aveva O-Ring che ho tolto da quella che ho smontato , sicuramente consigliata ..

I first thought this was incompatable but now concluded I won't know until I can test it in real life I have now tested it and it seems to work fine without leaks. So although it does not look exactly the same as my original Richdel it does the job for me.
