Do these dry quickly, or much faster than, say, tempera paint?

Quickly. Much faster then tempura paint. It's more like ink from a stamp pad. Takes a couple of minutes to dry.

The package says washable, but they sit on a throne of lies. I would NOT consider these washable in any way.

Can kids with G6PD use it?

I don’t see why not? They are not edible and are used in most sped classrooms

Would these work on ceramics?

These are not permanent markers. I don’t think they could be used on ceramics. The color would wash off.
