Great Portable and Useful Grid for Speedlights
Until recently, I had used DIY grids for my Yongnuo YN560iii flashes, made from cardboard tubes with cut straws in them. They worked ok, but were certainly as un-professional looking as you can get, and they had a tendency to get crushed when packed with other photography gear. I finally decided to break down and buy this one. I am quite pleased with the quality and the results. The tube is sturdy and flexible, which makes it easy to fit the head into it and, in this version 2, there are now elastic straps to hold the head in place. The two grid inserts, when used individually, give you a 45° and 25° spread of light, but when used together, they narrow the spread to 16°, which is pretty tight. The strap on the Version 1 model was hook and loop, but it was just straight across, meaning you pull the strap from one side to the other and connect it. In this new Version 2 model, the strap goes into a buckle and is pulled back to the same direction for which it came which--in my opinion--makes a much tighter grip to hold the tube onto the flash. It comes with a couple of colored filters but they appear to be "artistic" colors and not color correction filters. I immediately cut out some CTO and CTB filters to keep in my kit. The entire kit folds down flat and fits into the included carrying case, making it easy to pack, unpack, and use. I am extremely pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a grid for their Speedlight.

I used this for the first time on a photo shoot, and it produced some very amazing results. I was able to create that great 40's & 50's movie star type photo. Out of all of the pictures from the shoot, the majority of the ones chosen were from using this product. Also used it as a back light with the gels. It's a quality product - it fit perfectly on my flash. It doesn't add a ton of weight, and comes with a nice storage bag for both the grid and the gels. Pretty universal and easy to put together. The grid and frame are made of plastic, but not flimsy stuff - solid quality. And it has attachment bands to keep the frame and grids from falling off. Easy to use - it has 2 grids, the attachment and the frame for the grids. Use combinations to get a wider or tighter cone of light. Great product, and Amazon shipping as usual, was excellent.

Works well
Debated between spending money for Magmod vs this guy, but eventually bought this one. It is of good material, very easy to use, and is perfect for beginners or someone who doesn't need to add yet another modifier to soften the harsh shadow. for now, I pull down build in diffuser in my speedlite and that softened a little. Now I know why Magmod sells. They bank on the convenience of it. I tried to put the speedlight softbox on top of this attachment but that just wasn't going to happen lol. I am still learning so it's ok but when the time comes, I'd opt for the convenience and the versatility of Magmod or equivalent if you want to reach the next level. For the intended purpose, this attachment is sturdy, easy to use, and works real well.

Wow!
I was debating between this and the Gary Fong collapsible snoot. This was a lot cheaper. So naturally, I was wondering if the quality would be where I would sacrifice. This little piece of hardware is simply amazing. I have no regrets and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good product without the premium price. Plus you get three colored gels, and you actually get four shooting degrees. You already know that you have the 25 and 45 degrees and you can combine them to get 15 degrees (I don't understand that math). Another alternative that I didn't realize until I read the manual, you can shoot with no grids. So to recap, you have four options to control light, you get three colored gels for lighting effects, quality material, for an amazing price. The only con that I can think of (and this is nit picking) is that it will take longer to set up compared to the Gary Fong's snoot.

I like it
I am a professional wedding photographer. I bought this Rogue Grid 2 to add to my bag of tools. While waiting for this to come in the mail, I noticed my buddy had the first version of the Rogue Grid. I borrowed it to use for the day. While it worked as intended, I felt the first version was poorly designed. I didn't like the strap, didn't like the elastic band, the needless velcro, didn't like the body. It made me wondered what the company were thinking when they designed the first version. I instantly questioned my purchase for the second version. However, once I got the Rogue Grid 2, I was extremely happy. Design was much better, everything was sturdier, and the new strap wraps really well over my speedlight. While there is some give, the new strap did a good job at keeping the grid on snugly. I took it on the job this past weekend and the result was pure magic. The case is underwhelming. It's an oversize, cheap bag and I threw that in the closet and haven't looked at it since. The sample gel were a nice addition but isn't too useful for me. I want additional gels but they are more than half the price of the Rogue Grid 2 itself. The gels included are pretty worthless imo. I just need some basic CTO gels. Overall, it works well and I am happy to have it in my bag. I am very happy that they seriously improved the design. Don't give the first version a look. Skip it and get the 2.

Fun gadget for different type of lighting
I used this once and lost it already during a shoot, but for the one time I used it I thought it was a good product. It was very easy to use and fun to switch out the gel to get different lighting on the same shot. I am not sure how many more times I would need it so I probably won't order another one to replace my lost one, but if I find I need one again in the future I would definitely order it again since it suits its purpose and doesn't cost much.
