Fox Run 5476 Bamboo Skewers, 6", Brown

Great set of long skewers. They hold up well. I have them for crafting projects. I haven't used them a lot, but when I do I have had good experiences with them.

These worked perfectly for a reception. As with your standard box of toothpicks, there were a few that were splintered or had a knot where it just broke. But out of 200 that was maybe 5 of them. One version I used a bit of basil, pearl mozzarella and grape tomatoes. One version was 1/4" slices of cheese and summer sausage alternated twice. Both styles still gave you more than enough room to hang on to the skewer. I thought they were perfect for proportion - without being too short to hold on to or being too long that you feel like you might poke out an eye.

I originally bought these skewers to make something called a Grinch Kabob for Christmas. It was a huge hit with our family and looks adorable. I placed a slice of banana followed by a green grape and then a cut red strawberry with a miniature marshmallow on top. The completed product looks like the Grinch head with a Santa hat on. They also look visually appealing in a glass or clear bowl. I bought some more recently to make fruit and veggie kabobs since my 3 yr. old gets much more excited about eating his fruits and veggies when they are on a skewer. If I make several and keep them in a fun bowl in the front of the fridge where he can reach them, he will grab these as a snack. They are great to send for a snack for the entire classroom also.

What I like most about these bamboo skewers was the integrity of the material. Unlike some skewers used in the past, these did not splinter as much. Nice, sharp ends allowed for quick use and smooth puncture into the food. Used on a grill and did not burn through. They held well. When pulling out, the length was a bit too small, but this perfect for the grilling surface. If you like to cook Shish Kabobs, these are for you.

they are literally just sticks. who cares if they aren't actual bamboo or some are a different size, or some break or whatever. I've only had like 1 broken one in the pack but I was still able to use it, yes a lot of em are thick and a lot of them are weirdly thin. but I used these for my sculptures and clay making and even the weird looking ones though, they still hold real well! they are durable and only snap when you snap them. y'all will look for ANYTHING to complain about. but then again I'm not the most pickiest person in the world when it comes to sticks. if it's a stick that gets the job done, then yay! that's all that matters!

I like these because they are a little longer so I can fit a few items to make a cute fruit or veggie skewer, but not as long as a BBQ type skewer, so they were exactly what I wanted. They looked great at Christmas with a baby mozzarella, a cherry tomato , and a leaf of basil, making it a Christmas cored caprese appetizer.

Great quality and very cost effective. Correct to size per description

I was expecting these to be longer/normal sized skewers, however they were very short when they arrived. Looking at the product description I see that it says 6", so that was my bad for not paying attention. However if one were to look at the pictures of the product (which I did do when buying them), they are misleading and definitely not pictures of the actual product. 1) the skewers show having grilled meat and vegetables on them. There's no way the actual product could actually hold all of that food. The picture looks more like a 12" skewer. 2) the skewers that arrived are varying shades of bamboo - ranging from light to darker brown. Some of them are patchy and the dark spots seem like they could easily splinter.

Got these to use with the alligator clips I purchased to stick into hard foam as a cheap, makeshift third hand for soldering small electronics and such. They look to be of expected quality for little bamboo sticks.

Unfortunately, not the quality I was expecting. I have purchased skewers in the past that have been very smooth and quite substantial, these are not particularly smooth and are quite thin, by comparison.
