Nice alternative to the standard SPAM variety. The hickory smoke flavor is a bit subtle, but you can definitely taste the difference and it cuts through some of the saltiness. Getting to be a bit expensive, but that's all food nowadays in this economic environment. Overall, this is a good snack or addition to a meal, and I've bought it on a number of different occasions.

good, cheap meal! smoke flavor was a little different than traditional smoke flavor but still good. love it with eggs in the morning.

I was happy I could buy just a single can so I could try this flavor versus having to purchase an entire case that I might have not liked. I usually buy the lower sodium variety but I also liked smoked meat so I wanted to give this a try. I'm sure glad I did! I like this better than the original and the extreme saltiness doesn't seem to be there as well. I'm one of those odd folks who like to eat their spam straight out of the can or maybe on a cracker. Give this a try. It's not overpowering and you still know what you're eating versus some of the other flavors.

Perfect savory and salty combo! Nice texture and excellent flavor! Add this to your sandwich ,use for breakfast in a skillet with eggs or eat by itself!
