As mentioned, I have a USDM left hand drive car. This car comes from factory with only the drivers side window having the auto down function. I'm happy to report, the auto down function for both driver's and passenger's side windows, w/ this switch, operate as intended; nice win there. Where things get a little weird is with the product description statement (in one of the product images) that this is not intended for right hand drive cars. I can't confirm whether that's true, but what I can confirm is that the mold used for the top plate on this switch was based off of a right hand drive car. It's only slightly noticeable once installed and I suspect most won't even notice, but the switch top plate does not fit perfectly in a left hand drive car. If you compare the OEM and this replacement switch top plates side by side you'll see that the curvature is slightly different and a perfect inverse of each other. It's quite subtle and it'll likely only bother you if you're a perfectionist. Luckily there is a solution! If your OEM top plate is in good shape, you can just unscrew the top places and swap them between the switches; perfect swap. This results in the ideal solution. Non broken switches, both auto down capable and perfect fit in a USDM car! Another nice benefit, I noticed that my windows operate faster now, I'm assuming because the old switch's contact points had deteriorated significantly over time. Review: This worked perfectly for my S5 FC3S.. no wires to change, direct swap.. - This works exactly like factory with the added feature of auto down. If your looking for a factory looking replacment this ain't it.
