It's not metal, but for the price and look. It fit just fine. Snapped this in to place with no issues. Snaps hold tight and fit flush.

Fit fine(little loose, but stay on), they look OEMish, feel cheap. Over all I’m pleased with the purchase for being on Amazon.

It goes on there and covers it but its loose. It gets the job done and doesn’t fall off but you can tell the quality isn’t all there

I was very skeptical about this product after reading some reviews. Another thing that confused me that it says "might need to be painted". I have ordered 3 pieces of these pull strap door end moldings for my 1984 Suburban Sierra Classic. Order came in a bag, which worried me about product possibly damaged. It definitely needs to be shipped in a box, since plastic is very fragile. Moldings look as good as originals. They do not need to be painted. They snap in place like new. You just hear a "click" and you are done. No any movements or flimsiness so far. To be honest these moldings are waaay overpriced for what you are getting. It is just a small plastic box. But you are getting a replacement part that you can not buy anywhere. And that is why it is priced the way it is, I guess. I, also, must admit the price with free shipping was cheaper then other online US stores, and I did not have to worry about customs and possibly additional import charges. So final verdict is : buy it if your vehicle is for sale or for the show. Product looks good.
