It Worked!
After I received lab tests that confirmed I had high cholesterol, I decided to give these supplements a try. I was hoping it would help lower my cholesterol, especially because I didn't want to use a statin. I’m honestly really happy with how well it worked. After taking it consistently for three months, my cholesterol numbers dropped more than I expected, which was a great surprise. These soft gels are easy to swallow, and I like that the formula combines plant sterols with fish oil. There is also no fishy aftertaste. I highly recommend giving these a try! FYI, if you buy the larger package, you can save 3 cents per pill.

It might be worth your while to try this product.
I asked ChatGPT about alternatives for Saw Palmetto that might be more effective for prostrate relief and this is what it came up with. I’ve been using it now for several weeks and I rarely have to get up at night to use the bathroom, whereas before I was getting up at least once per night. There are also some medical studies concerning use of this product that that show it more effective than a placebo. It works for me, so I’m happy.

So far, SO GREAT!!!
Cholesterol always runs a bit high, "good" cholesterol also high and triglycerides low (~75), 4-months ago chl. was 211, Dr wasn't "worried" bc of good/bad ratio but wanted to keep a close eye on it to be sure it didn't keep moving up. I started taking two of these 2x day, and about 4x a week started putting oat-fiber powder in my protein shake for lunch. Four months later, just got bloodwork back, total chl. dropped 34 POINTS!!! Triglycerides were 67, so also dropped slightly (I'm pescatarian so my trygl. are always low). My Dr was absolutely astonished. I obviously can't say if it is this or the oat fiber or a combo of both, but I am continuing for the long haul. I have made no other diet or exercise changes. I will update when we do my next test in Feb '26.

comvbo with Saw Palmetto
taken for a month in combination with saw palmetto, which I began taking two weeks earlier. Getting pretty good relief now, maybe 30% better, but getting old sucks. Will continue until I run out in 1-2 months, then assess whether the improvement is worth taking daily forever.

It may work for you, it may not, but worth trying.
This review is for using this product for improving cholesterol #'s. This is just one of the products I used. I've had mixed results with cholesterol lowering supplements and I have done a lot of research on them in the hopes of avoiding going on a statin. I've taken cholesterol supplements and had my cholesterol go down. I've not taken them and had my cholesterol go up. I've also taken them and seen no change. That being said it is definitely worth a try if you want to improve your lipids and avoid a statin. I was taking this in conjunction with other supplements, all that have some scientific research proving they work. I did see improvements in my lipid panels when I took various supplements but was never able to tell what was helping the most. When I didn't take the supplements my #'s would go up, but lately despite taking all of these supplements my #'s were high and I'm now on a statin and not taking any of them anymore. If you are concerned about your cholesterol I would strongly suggest talking to your Dr about a Coronary Calcium Scan as taking supplements can get fairly expensive. After my last lipid panel results came back elevated I went for the scan and my Dr and I decided to go on a statin instead of spending $750-$1000/year on supplements. For the record my CC Scan cost $100, most insurance will not cover it, but it was the best $100 I have ever spent on health care. For the record I had the best test results when taking the following supplements each day: Flax Oil 2 x 1000mg Krill Oil 2 x 1000mg (fish worked too but I hated the after taste, none of that with krill) TR Niacin 3 x 500mg Sytrinol 2 x 150mg CoQ 10 1 x 100mg Pantethine 3 x 450mg Plant Sterols 3 x 800mg Glucomannan 3 x 1150mg These were all spaced out AM, Lunch, PM. Comparing my worst and best lipid #'s from blood tests from a lab, these supplements did the following: Total - Lowered 60 points - 22% Bad - Lowered 53 points - 27% Good - Increased 15 points - 22% Tri-G's - Lowered 37 points - 25% Good to Tri-G Ratio - Worst was 2.62, while on all these went as low as 1.75 (Harvard Med study lists this as possibly the best predictor of heart attack risk). Ideal is below 2. It should be noted that I rarely eat any meat other than fish/shell fish...rarely eat egg yolks...and have a fairly healthy diet...mainly my lipid issues are genetic.

changed again
originally these were made as phytosterol vegi caps. I was using them for about five years for my prostate issues. they worked great. one month and I felt like I never had a problem. then they decided to change them into gel caps with fish oil. marketed as cardio health. there is no clinical evidence to show that fish oil supplements do anything at all for cardio. the pills still worked for the prostate, but not as good. then a couple of years ago they obviously changed the source of the beta sitosterol and now they are useless. they do nothing at all for the prostate and fish oil supplements are not good for you. johns hopkins would agree because that is where I got my info. I really wish they would bring back the original vegi caps from the same source. none of these supplement co's actually tell you what the source is and don't seem to know or care that the source is everything. there isn't one product out there that works on the prostate at all. there used to be until they decided to ruin it
