Lipper International Large Wavy Bowl, Acacia

Beautiful bowl, smooth finish and well made. I have purchased a lot of Lipper International wood products over the years, they are always good quality.

Love this bowl!! I have never owned a salad bowl and am not sure how I managed without one my entire life. This bowl is the perfect size to toss salad and looks great to serve the salad as well. Seems well constructed and haven't had any problems with cracking. This is a great item to purchase for yourself or to give as a gift. Highly recommend!

I ordered this bowl late Sunday night and received it Tuesday morning. Thanks, Amazon Prime! I find this bowl quite beautiful, especially for the price. A similarly-shaped teak salad bowl is found online for $160! I specifically wanted a wavy people, so I find the shape lovely. For me, the depth and higher sides makes tossing salad with long utensils a dear friend brought me from South Africa to be pure pleasure. There are a few nicks/imperfections in the wood but, since I wanted to replicate the feeling of a wooden salad bowl that accompanied every dinner I had with a beloved teacher for decades, I welcome the very small imperfections. I intend to use this nearly daily for the rest of my life and will do so happily and proudly. To address bobo's criticisms and very low rating, I measured the bowl and it is the size stated, with only very slight variation. The diameter of the top opening of mine is 12" x 11.5". It is 7 inches high/deep, sloping in to a 6" diameter base. Given the steep slope evident in the photo, the misunderstanding of the base as having a 12" diameter would mean the top opening would be about 2 feet around – essentially a basket. This is a salad bowl - with matching individual salad bowls offered on the same page. I understood the dimensions listed because I was thinking in terms of a salad bowl. To expect double that size (especially for this very low price) is, I think, not the fault of Amazon. I put up a photo of the label on the bottom of the bowl which states the exact dimensions that are in Amazon's ad - and very close to what I measured myself. The other complaint was the change in price. In 12 hours after I ordered it, the price decreased 4 times (yes, I checked). The total decrease has remained about $.70, so I'm not too upset. I looked around a lot before choosing this one and this is an outstanding deal! So, I LOVE this salad bowl! While the wood in mine is less variegated in color than the one in the photo, I find it very attractive. The shape is a pleasure for tossing salad. It's heavy enough to be substantial and stable but light enough to use and wash easily. In short, for my taste, budget, and use, it's perfect! If anything happens to this one over time, I would happily replace it with the same.

My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of this wooden salad bowl, for this price. The large bowl is angled perfectly, so the salad doesn't spill while mixing. It washes clean and has not discolored in the months we have used it. The bowl has a deep wooden color, that dresses up the table. This bowl is large enough to serve 6-8 salads. We are a very happy with it.

Nice bowl, my only complaint is that it came in a large box with no protective packaging and got a little dinged. But love the size!

This bowl is excellent! Elegant shape, deceptively light for its size and appearance. Holds a lot! In my opinion it fits in well with elegant china or casual stoneware.

This set is great! The bowl is just the right size for a side salad for 6 or a dinner salad for four. You need to keep the bear claw servers oiled so that they don't dry out as well as the bowl itself. I would buy it again. It would make a great gift.

I love mine, looks lovely on the table and easy to toss the salad. It’s huge though! Good for company. I think I’ll buy a smaller one for everyday use for 3-4 people.

Great bowl nice size, I’ve had a few of these bowls over the years, great price, great for Caesar salad
