UV-C test cards glow indicating UV-C light, and a petri dish test shows that it does kill bacteria. I've just posted a review (which should show up shortly) where I tested the authenticity of the UV-C light with a test card as well as the effectiveness of the sanitization. While the light is real and it kills bacteria, I was unable to show that it makes a difference on a toothbrush, likely due to the light not penetrating beyond the tips and outside of the bristles. I wouldn't rely solely on this to sanitize the brush, but it probably doesn't hurt. **Q: Warranty replacement ?? Uv burned out in 90days.** A: I‘m so sorry for it,friend.
