I have 4 HDMI devices but have only 3 HDMI inputs on my LG tv. This switch allows me to share one of the three HDMI tv ports with up to three separate devices. I connected the switch to one of the three HDMI inputs on the TV using an HDMI cable. I then plugged my ROKU and PlayStation5 into the input side of this switch. (I have one extra input port on the switch left unused. See photo.) Now I can choose which of these two devices to use (Roku or PlayStation5) without having to switch cables. I can choose between the two plugged-in devices by pressing a button on the switch, or using the included remote to choose the device. OR I can use the automatic switching mode on the device which figures out which device is in use and connects automatically when it’s turned on. **That is a great feature that not all of these types of switches have. This switch does NOT require batteries, which is a plus. Nor does it require power from a wall outlet or USB, so there is no additional power plug required. It seems to be powered by each device individually through the HDMI cable. The remote does require 1 AAA battery if you choose to use it. To summarize, this switch works well. If your needs are like mine, it will do everything you will need.

Very useful gadget. Allows me to use one monitor with two sources (Mac computer and iPad) and switch between them as needed. Works very well. I do not notice any deterioration of video quality from either source. Push-button switch seems to be good quality, firm feel. Good item, reasonable price.

So I have a monitor in my room that I was barely using, except for the occasional work-from-home days. So I decided to turn the monitor into a TV too. I wanted to have my Nintendo Switch dock, Roku streaming stick and computer plugged into the monitor without needing to be unplugging cables everytime I wanted to use one of them. (3 In - 1 Out). I bought this adapter and its been great so far in this past few weeks. It doesn't need to be connected to an outlet. It comes with a remote control to switch between HDMI inputs, but its not really necessary because it detects which one we are using at the time. I used a strong doble-sided tape on the bottom of the adapter and put the adapter under my table. I didn't want to be bothered and see the cables and adapter on top of the table. Recommendation: Do not use long HDMI cables with this. I had connected a very long cable from the adapter to the monitor and my Roku streaming stick started giving me an error because of it. I changed my HDMI cables to 4ft cables and everything works great and looks even better picture/motion quality wise.

This is awesome! I have a very few comforts in life, but my TV system is number one. I have my living room TV hooked up to my basement TV and my kitchen TV so I never have to miss a minute of a show. This really helps between the two system systems I have. I can use one or the other at the touch of a button.

This splitter works well. I have my Switch, Switch 2 and Raspberry Pi all plugged into it and all display well. I wanted a splitter that didn't need to be powered and this one does the job!

Suddenly stopped working after 6 months. Used it daily (all 3 ports) for several hours per day, on average. Also experienced the issue others reported about the screen just going black for a few seconds, then coming back. Happened a few times per week on average. UPDATE (12/10/25): Updating my ranking to 3 stars for now. It started working again, not sure how/why. The company messaged me, and offered a free replacement. So, I like the company at least. They also offered advice on how to get it working again after it stops working. (Which basically boils down to unplugging everything, and then plugging in two inputs that are currently powered to ensure the device has enough power to operate.). So, we'll see how it goes from here. FYI: Despite my review, I did buy two more of these (since they're relatively inexpensive), just to make sure I have a working unit when needed. There's not much else on the market, it seems, that offers this same functionality without also having the same complaints/issues, so we'll see how things go over the next several months, now that I have two backup units. That's what I get for buying a monitor with only 1 HDMI input. 🙂

AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY. This quiet little hero has been living in my home for over a year now. He isn’t loud. He doesn’t make a sound. And that is exactly the point. Gone are the days of a huffy pre-teen suffering the indignity of having to swap HDMI cables because the TV didn’t have enough ports for all his gaming devices. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even read the setup instructions. That’s how easy it was. I plugged it in, plugged in his devices, and we were done. Switching between devices is as simple as pressing a button. Just pushing a button, and the indicator light tells you which he's using. It responds quickly, and the picture quality is exactly the same as a direct connection. There have been zero connectivity issues. This thing just quietly does its job. The value for the money is fantastic. It’s been in use for a long time now, doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, without complaint. If it ever decided to stop working, I would happily replace it with the exact same model. If you or someone you love has been personally victimized by a lack of HDMI ports, this is the solution.

Ich habe den HDMI Switch von NEWCARE im Rahmen von Amazon Vine als kostenloses Testprodukt erhalten. Meine Bewertung gestalte ich dennoch so Objektiv wie möglich. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem HDMI Switch. Die Installation war einfach und dank der Fernbedienung muss ich nicht mal aufstehen um die Geräte zu wechseln - umstecken der Kabel ist sowieso nicht mehr notwendig. Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut – selbst bei 4K und 60Hz macht sich der HDMI Switch ganz gut. Ich nutze den Switch für meine Xbox One und einen Streaming-Stick und alles läuft reibungslos. Preis-Leistung: Das Produkt kostet aktuell 13,99€ - gut und günstig, was will man mehr. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen. I cave connected my cable box and 2 disc players to the switch. It will automatically switch when one of them is turned on which is a nice feature. The included remote works well. Ideally, I'd have liked all the ports positioned on the rear of the unit which wold allowed for a (visibly) cable-free installation, but that's just nit-picking. Great value and performance.

Normally I depend on my AVR as an HDMI switch. However tragedy struck recently and my AVR packed up working. A replacement isn't on the cards until I get back from my holidays but I need to be able to use both my PC and bluray player meanwhile. Both were connected to the AVR and from that to my TV. I thought about just getting new cables that were long enough to connect everything but this listing changed my mind. Putting this device in the loop means that I will avoid having to run the cables that I would have had to buy and also, due to the remote, will be easier to switch between the bluray and the PC. My TV will do that job but I have to navigate the menu. It will also work out cheaper than the two long cables would be needed and this unit could come in for other uses in the future. This is a good neat little plastic box that seems durable and well made. The remote is simplicity itself, which I really like, having separate On/Off buttons and then three numbered buttons to select the input. Nice and simple. The unit can also be used manually by virtue of an input button on the top of the machine or it will work on auto mode. In that mode, if I am on PC and switch my bluray on then, the HDMI switch automatically switches to the bluray as the input and that comes up on the TV. Oddly, when I switch the bluray off the switch doesn't go back to the PC as the input and my TV reports that no signal is being received. It's easy to sort out though by using the switch's remote to select input 1, which is the position I have assigned to the PC. Setting up was a breeze. I sat the unit on top of my old AVR and simply switched the HDMI cables from bluray and PC into two of the inputs of this switch and put the TV's HDMI into the output of this device. No drivers to install and no messing around with awkward configuration. In use just a simple use of the remote and I was soon skipping between inputs. Just what I needed and it isn't too expensive representing good value for a switch with a remote.
