## Description

Product Description desertcart Basics 36 Pack AAA High-Performance Alkaline Batteries, 10-Year Shelf Life, Easy to Open Value Pack From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics

Review: Switched back from rechargeables—Better reliability for my mountain home - I’ve spent a lot of time and money on high-end rechargeable batteries, but I’ve finally given up on them. Between the self-discharge and the fact that they always seem dead when I actually need them during a power outage, I’ve switched back to these desertcart Basics AAA Alkaline Batteries. The Convenience Factor: Living in Big Bear, I need batteries that I can "set and forget." Whether it’s for my headlamps, TV remotes, or emergency weather radio, I need to know that when I grab a battery from the drawer, it has a full charge. These have a 10-year shelf life, which gives me the peace of mind I just wasn't getting with my NiMH rechargeables. Performance & Value: Longevity: For high-drain devices like my LED flashlights, these hold up remarkably well. I haven't noticed any significant difference in "runtime" compared to the much more expensive name brands. Leakage: So far, I haven't had any issues with these leaking in my devices, which was my main concern with "store brand" alkalines. The 36-Pack: The quantity is perfect. It’s enough to restock the whole house and still have a stash in my emergency kit for winter. Pros: Reliable: They work every time, straight out of the box. Affordable: A fraction of the price of the "Copper Top" brands with nearly identical performance. Packaging: The box is compact and easy to store in a battery organizer or junk drawer. Cons: Waste: Obviously, these aren't as "green" as rechargeables, but for critical devices where I need 100% reliability, it's a trade-off I’m willing to make. Bottom Line: If you're tired of chargers and dead batteries, go back to basics. These are dependable, high-value, and perfect for stocking up your home or emergency supplies. Pro Tip: Check your emergency flashlights every 6 months. Even with a 10-year shelf life, it’s good practice to rotate your stock and make sure no leaks have occurred due to extreme temperature swings.
Review: Awesome Cost for a bundle of them. - Excellent Batteries! Long lasting charge. much better than other brands of these types of Batteries.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do they compare to Duracell?**
A: My last 4 purchases of Duracell's over the previous 3 years, AA, AAA, 9 volt and D sizes, had an unreasonable number, 40 percent, that leaked even though they were fresh dated, used and stored in home at room temperatures. A smaller percentage, 20 percent, were fresh dated brand new and found to be dead. This quality problem with Duracell is not just with Amazon purchases, but Duracell purchases from Home Depot, Lowes and Walgreens as well. I've had it with Duracell's poor quality and leaking batteries, and have since replaced, and thrown away all new and used Duracell batteries in the trash where they belong. Duracell used to be a quality product, but not any more.

**Q: what is the guarantee date on these batteries**
A: Purchased in 4/23 batteries show an expiration date of 8/23. I would not have purchased had I known of the very short expiration date. I won't buy Amazon Basics Batteries again because of this.

**Q: How long do these last on the bose QC 25s and do you think they would easily last me a year if i go through 2-3 rechargeable aa battery chargesa week?**
A: Bose qc uses AAA size not AA. Bose says alkaline battery last about 35 hours. 48 batteries will provide about 1600 hours of use but likely less if headphones are left on when not listening.

**Q: I am less interested in which battery last 5 minutes longer and more interested in what batteries leak the least. which leak least?**
A: Decent batteries should not leak even IF you put something away. I’ve had things with batteries in items left for 4-5-6 years. Opened, batteries dead...no leakage!!!! I have used Duracell, Energizer, Walmart, IKEA, CVS brand batteries. In 40 years NEVER had a battery leak!!! Won’t buy these now thst people claim they “ may” leak!!! Maybe that’s why so cheap!!!
