Definate points off for quality
Let me start off by saying that I used to ride a Schwinn unicycle all over town often for miles at a time. I unfortunately no longer have that unicycle and bought this one to take up riding again. The overall design of the unicycle is decent but at the same time Torker missed big on a few points.Pros:- The height is good allowing for a good center of balance.- The crank length is also decent allowing for enough torque without being too long.- The tire is an appropriate tread for a unicycle.Cons:- The saddle is unbearably hard and narrow.- The tube will not hold air for very long even after changing the valve core.- The instruction manual is absolutely WORTHLESS! It is a skimpy general product guide which makes almost no mention of a unicycle let alone how to assemble it.- The one that I received was missing the bolts and nuts to install the crank bearing keepers.- The seat post collar is welded in place. Quite the problem if you don't like their locking mechanism.Despite the above challenges, I was able to assemble and ride the unicycle.- I got replacement bolts from the local hardware store (I wasn't going to bother with or wait for Torker or the vendor to do something about it).- I replaced the tube with a Schwinn tube from a local bike shop which solved that problem. (Again I wasn't in the mood to fuss or wait)- As for the saddle, it's a groin buster. I replaced it with a Pyramid saddle that I bought here on Amazon (search B000AOXF2G) or see my other reviews to locate it.Now that I have corrected the above issues on mine, it is quite easy to ride and enjoyable. It's unfortunate that they cut very inexpensive corners rather than putting out a product that people could rave about.

This thing is sturdy. As I began learning to ride it
This thing is sturdy. As I began learning to ride it, I really beat the heck out of it, and everyone who said ohh a unicycle, let me try, beat the heck out of it, and yet it still works as great as the day I unboxed it. As a sport, unicycling is pretty darn hard to learn, but well worth it. I've taken this thing off-road for miles it's really quite something. In fact it's worked so well for me I decided to buy a 20-inch off a yard sale for my wife to learn on, and at the same time saw another 24 inch with a knobbier tire and decided to get that as well. So now I have 3 of these things, all Torker's, and couldn't be happier, everyone who see's them tries them out, my wife is learning on the 20" and loves it so far. If you want to learn to ride a unicycle, buy one of these, it will stand up to your effort, and still be there when you're ready to ride for real!

The unicycle I ordered came with a stand
I purchased this as a gift and the recipient really likes it! The one I ordered came with a stand included even though I didn't see in the description of the unicycle that it was. I purchased the strong heavy duty metal stand that is suggested to purchase along with this item and it was not any better than the one that came with it. So I would suggest that you not purchase a stand until you receive the unicycle to make sure that there is not one included. I was going to return the extra stand, but it was going to cost almost as much as I paid for the stand to ship it back. I also had to pay to have it shipped originally. Hopefully I can save someone else the inconvenience of being stuck with an extra unicycle stand (not sure what I'm going to do with it now).

A very good unicycle!
I don't have much experience with unicycles but I got this in hopes to learn, I absolutely LOVE IT! though I will say, if you are thinking of getting this or the LX by torker, go with the LX. The seat is much more comfortable... I swear if I ride this seat any longer I'll be sterile. That being said I'm using this thing for long distance riding... On the other hand, if you're on a budget and don't mind learning the seat's not that bad for short periods. Just long periods gets very uncomfortable. Also a side note, I didn't like the pedals so I swapped em with some metal BMX pedals, but that's just preference.tl;dr: Great uni for the price, bad saddle replace once you get better, may want to get new pedals too.

Sturdy unicycle, but tall people (over 6') will need a longer seatpost
Sturdy unicycle. A corner of one of the (plastic) pedals chipped off, but this is my first time learning and the bike has taken quite a beating - it has held up well otherwise. Seat is reasonably comfortable.NOTE -- For tall people - 6' and over - the seatpost will be too short for you (making it difficult to ride, at least in my case). Torker doesn't make a longer seatpost that you can buy, but I was able to get one made by a different company that was compatible - just check the diameter since they vary. Getting a longer seatpost has made a huge difference.

Great value for beginners!!
A great unicycle for beginners. I have put 30+ hours on it learning how to ride. It got banged against the wall, pavement, furniture, etc during my practice sessions and so far after two years it is still holding up well. The only complaint I have is the seat. I wish I had replaced it sooner. The one that comes with it hurt my crotch after half an hour of practice..every time. I eventually bought a seat specifically for unicycles (with a front handle) and do not have a problem since. When I purchased it back in 2014, it came with a stand. After 2 years I just figured out how to lean the unicycle on it. Talking about a slow learner!

Good 1st UNI
Great looking unicycle, bery easy to assemble ( make sure you put the right pedal on the right side and the left pedal on the left side!) I almost messed it up because of that! !!!!DO NOT BUY THE DEAL WITH THE BIKE RACK HOLDER THINGY!!! The unicycle comes with one already in the box !!! So unless you want two of them do not order the one amazon offers in the deal!!! The seat post moves around a little, but its not that bad! Its my first unicycle and im learning how to ride on it, so it seems like a great first unicycle!!
