D-Splicer F-Series Splicing

Much better way to pull the Dutchman lines through .

I was using a piece of wire for a few years, but finally broke down and invested in this puller.

A must have tool to splice single braid line. The trick is to cut half the strands off at the tail that goes into the wand so that it can be pulled through the core of the line easily.

This tool is perfect for splicing 7/64" and 1/8" Amsteel cordage for making hammock supplies. I have made an entire suspension system using this tool. It makes splicing and fabricating hollow core Dynema rope a breeze. Definitely worth the investment.

No issues with this tool

Picked up to use when splicing Amsteel. Works great. I've also used it for double braid eyes splices and it's easier that trying to push a fid. Will probably purchase the next size up as well.

Works well but will not hold up to a heavy pulling load. If you need it to, look at their metallic D-splicer kit - much stronger construction.

Great tool

Die Spleißnadel ist gut verarbeitet und funktioniert bestens. Was mich etwas besorgt ist eine Anmerkung des Herstellers, dass man das lose Ende nicht mit großer Kraft durchziehen soll, weil sich sonst der Draht aus dem Kunststoffkopf lösen kann. Das sollte einfach nicht passieren, denn bei eng geflochtenen Tauwerksmänteln braucht es manchmal einfach doch viel Zugkraft, um den Kern durchzuziehen. Aber bisher hielt alles.

The best tool for making soft shackles. Can't imagine to use anything else now.
