I know turmeric is sometimes touted as a painkiller, but it isn't actually an analgesic. It IS an anti-inflammatory, which for a lot of people serves the same purpose. I've taken it before but let it slide a few years ago, then decided to give it another try. I'd forgotten how much turmeric helps with joint issues. It's meant I'm a safer driver because turning my head is easier. It means when I wake up in the morning, while I'm still in some pain, it's manageable enough I can get out of bed and walk around right away and without help. It means sounder sleep because while I do have pain, it's consistently at a lower threshold. It also reduced the swelling in my hands enough I can wear my heirloom ring again. Turmeric doesn't leave you impaired or drowsy, meaning it's safe to take when driving or working.

I take this daily capsule to help lower my cholesterol and bilirubin. I did not experience an upset stomach. I like that the serving size is just one capsule. The expiration date over a year away. The brand is also reputable.
