BESTEK 200W Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Inverter with 4.2A 4-Port USB Car Adapter [ETL Listed]

I bought this to use during an eight-hour road trip. It worked great. I was able to quickly charge my MacBook, my kids' tablet, and two phones. I chose this one over the other ones I was looking at because of its compact size and that the plugs were spaced out a little more so I wouldn’t have an issue plugging in my big MacBook charger along with another charger.

These inverter are great! Years ago when I was researching a inverter that would not kill my truck battery if it was forgotten to be switched off. This company is who I found and pretty much all of their products. There is a low voltage protection that cuts the power supply of the inverter if the vehicles voltage gets too low. It's been a life saver many times and serves as a great backup if we forget to switch it off! The customer service is great and if I've ever had any issues with the unit's power cord or the box itself then the company has always responded very well and replaced the device within their warranty period. Just be sure you're paying attention to the output of the devices/chargers you plug into this. There is a power rating of 200w that's should be payed attention to. Highly recommend, great quality, features and customer service!

This was the second unit that I have purchased. I was happy with the first one which lasted about seven years. Hope to get another seven from this one. I have had this small inverter for a year working my solar powered water pump and it handles things well. Would certainly purchase again.

This is the quietest inverter ever. I honestly forget that it is even on. Granted, the inverter I had prior to this one was a heavy, chunky model from about 1989 that was a hand-me-down from my parents 15 years ago. It had been through hell and back but kept on truckin'. Right before it's death from dismemberment, it was a very loud inverter that struggled to stay on at times. So that's what I was coming from. Maybe most inverters are quiet these days. Anyway, aside from the very quiet fan, this little inverter is very lightweight and the regular "power strip" style outlets are perfect for all of the oversized chargers that exist out there. I don't really use the USB ports much because I have always had the rapid charge AC adapter for my phone but it's good to know that I have the option since buying a charging cable in a pinch is much cheaper than a full on rapid charger. The weirdest part about this inverter is the power cord needs to be attached when it first arrives. The port for the power cord isn't super secure so when you push it into the hole, the hole connection kind of sinks back into the device. This caused me to not want to push too hard for fear of breaking the entire thing. But you HAVE to push hard to make sure it is fully plugged in. The few people who said theirs kept falling out may not have pushed hard enough. Maybe. For the price, this thing can't be beat, IMO. I keep this in my work bag so I always have a power source while driving around for work. The lighweight nature and compact design mean I can keep this with me at all times without even thinking about it. It charges my Android phone and my MacBook without trouble.

No problems yet, although I don’t use very often. I bought this to keep in my truck, I keep it stowed unless needed (mostly for charging devices). Works fine.

Great for those who have a lot of electronic gear. I go on multi-day trips photographing, hiking/camping/backpacking and use this to charge my kindle, camera batteries, flashlights, phone, etc., and to power my laptop so that can download my photos and access the internet while on the road. This device really makes these trips much more convenient since I am in the wilderness often and don't always stay at hotels. I chose this particular device because of the wide spacing between the ports, which makes it possible to plug in several bulky adapters and battery chargers at once. The price is great and has saved me a lot of money - the alternative is to would be to buy a bunch more memory cards, li-ion batteries, or rent a hotel room just to charge my devices for the night. The multiple USB ports also mean you can charge several phones at once in addition to your other gear.

This product is a life saver for us. My husband is on oxygen. When we took long rides in the car the charge on his machine would be almost empty when we got to where we were going. This has allowed us to plug the oxygen machine into the car and arrive fully charged even though hope was using it the entire trip. I very highly recommend this product

As many others may have mentioned this is not a pure sine wave AC power inverter. But then again, it's only twenty five bucks. I purchased this for powering chargers and basic electronics in the car for road trips, and does that extremely well. Knowing what it is, and not setting my expectations for anything else, I can't find any reasons to give it less than 5 stars. It's compact, the plug is really solid, it's a great value, and pacifies kids in the car. Product description is very detailed and seems to clearly and honestly communicate the limitations and caveats that so many other reviewers have complained about. The fan does make some noise (because it's a fan). The item description clearly sets the expectation that it does have a cooling fan and it will make noise when t's on. I just made sure to put this under the seat in the car, where it could still get good ventilation and none of us even noticed it. Especially over the road noise. It's just a trade-off for convenience of having power where you otherwise wouldn't. I'm sure there are people out there who buy gas generators and are surprised to discover that they are loud.

Kinda cheap feeling, but it’s been working well so far. Light weight and small. Really easy to tuck away when not in use. Definitely a must for road trips or car camping.

I bought this to use on road trips to charge phones and laptops and to charge batteries for cameras which require wall plug-in chargers. Does exactly what I hoped and although there is a little fan noise, it is difficult to hear in a car while driving. Well designed and looks pretty robust so far. The 2.1 A USB ports (2 of) seem to charge as quickly as wall plug-in chargers to for my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S) and phone (LG G4).
