Love the opening. Fresh and bright. Smells expensive. The projection is good. It's a compliment getter. The dry down is nice - a gentle reminder of the beautiful opening. The longevity is decent for a fresh fragrance. Bought my bottle - a safe blind buy. Bought my son a bottle: It proved to be his favourite fragrance from the Afnan sample set I got him. Going to buy a back up. Need I say more?...

Absolutely love this perfume. Was a blind buy, as couldn't find it on a recent trip to Dubai, and all testers were empty in their stores as well. Very fresh citrussy notes. Last at least 6 to 8 hours on skin. Opens very fresh, and the citrus pops even more on the dry down. Highly recommend, especially for the great weather we've got right now in UK. Bottle is very stylish, and cannot go wrong at this price point. Beats other fragrances almost 10 times it's price.

Afnan are one of the best middle eastern houses you can buy from, they generally specialise is clones or inspired by fragrances, however the difference is they use decent quality ingredients and are high quality (unlike the numbered fragrances you can buy) Rare reef is an inspired version of Louis Vitton Pacific chill, albeit with a few changes in direction. The bottle design is nice (reminds me of the Azzaro bottles) and has a excellent atomiser. This is a very fresh, citrus forward fragrance with fruits running through both the top and mid notes. It's zest and lively with a little bit of spice. At it's core it's a blue fragrance and it's hard not to like this, a very mass appealing and safe blind buy fragrance. It's also an extrait de parfum concentration meaning minimum 25% oil. Longevity is superb easy 8+ hours which for a fresh fragrance is really good. At £38 this is a bargain as are just about all Afnan fragrances. Absolutely recommend this for a summer freshy.

I totally see why the reviews for this arent as high as some other perfumes i bought with my current haul. Overall its a good summer scent but not mind blowing. It definitely doesn't smell unique to me it smells like something i have smelt before... Maybe a citrus car air freshner or something... Its a pleasant scent for the most part. What i dobt like about it is the mint.... It makes it too cold. You definitely need to wear this in hot sunny weather...its not an all season scent. Given that its an extrait it performs better on clothes rather than on skin. On skin ita super long lasting but the citrus and juicy fruit evaporate after the first few hours then you're left with a slightly citrusy + mint type smell. Smells a little metallic, synthetic and cold to me during this phase and this phase lasts really long and can get tiring. On clothes you can stretch the juicy fruity bit slightly longer hence i recommend spraying on clothes. Overall ok buy I would have preferred if instead of mint they did something else with a little smooth creamy feel - I think id like it more then. Overall hasn't scratched my itch for a great summer fragrance but il keep it and use it occasionally especially if going outdoors on a sunny day for its long lasting nature.

Beautiful fruity scent. Amazing but very different to others like this. This is fruity twist as it has a mint scent along with other types of fruit, think orange mixed with more obscure. Longevity is good, as is the projection. Bottle is a nice design and this along with another fruit scent will be my summer fragrances for the foreseeable

Too citrusy. Dry down is good. Clone of LV pacific chill. Great buy for summer and beaches. It's a refreshing smell.
