I returned mine because it wasn’t heavy enough. I have ptsd and my shoulders are always scrunched to my neck. The quality of product is great. It’s soft, color is pretty, and it might be heavy for someone else. Just not for me.

I purchased this product because it’s summer and my weighted blanket makes it too hot to sleep. I use this across my shoulders over my chest and the compression calms my anxiety and I sleep well. I don’t get hot like with my weighted blanket. During the day I’ll put it across my back shoulders for calming and focus. It feels like a nice hug. Great product! Highly recommend if you have anxiety!

Edit: I originally gave this 3 stars. I am adding a star for the great customer service outreach. I purchased the 4lb after reading the reviews. I find this way too heavy on my neck and when I try to slip it down a little, it falls off one shoulder or the other. It may be just me because I hate things around my neck (turtlenecks are an absolute not for me) so it might not be as horrible for others.

This is fabulous for the weight but it also keeps my shoulders warm (my shoulder get cold easily). I especially like wearing it at the computer.

I carry anxiety in my shoulders, a sort of nervous pain. Putting it on for the first time, I thought it (the 4lb version) wasn't heavy enough. About 10 minutes later I realized I was walking around my home with that nervous feeling gone and the weight might be slightly too heavy. Now I'm not bothered by the weight either way and contemplating how much longer I'll use my anti-anxiety med because I only have anxiety at home where I can wear this wrap without any sort of social issues. Update 2+ years later... I am still using the wrap. Since childhood, when going to sleep I've felt a need to pull my covers over my shoulder and hold the covers there. I now sling the wrap over my shoulders or torso when in bed and it does the trick. I sleep with the wrap on. When I wake up in the middle of the night I can put the wrap back on, feel a tangible reassuring relief, and fall right back to sleep.

I love this wrap when I remember I have it. I had a weighted blanket. I had to leave behind me when fleeing a dangerous situation and I needed something to come with me so I got this wrap. I like that you can heat or cool it though I don’t usually do either. I will say the stitching in between sections is actually very weak and if you pull it at all, it will start to pull out and Remove the division in the section which is kind of annoying that could stand to be improved. Overall, it serves the purpose as well.

I purchased this for a friend with shoulder issues and her life has totally changed! She can now move her shoulder 90% more than she could! Awesome

It is really good.The shawl is the perfect length for the shoulders and it is small enough to be used on other parts of the body without being overwhelming with the weight.
