The branches were all bunched together; however, they are easy to move around since they are just wires that are entirely wrapped in electrical tape. The metal trunk was wrapped in the tape as well. The timer function works nicely; since this is only battery powered, it does get dimmer each time it turns on. I do wish that it had an option to plug it into a wall so the lights were full brightness each time. Also, some of the little, soft, plastic sakura caps for the LEDs were bent but it's not too noticeable; it comes with some replacement caps as well.
