Game changer for me after having my gallbladder removed! I take one a day sometimes two if I know I’ll be eating a fatty meal.

If you have inflammatory digestive issues this makes the difference between being able to eat and having to involuntary fast due to the pain of eating. I spent a year using OTC digestive enzymes that did not help and there were weeks when I could eat very little or just do bone broth, then I read about pancreatic enzymes and found this one and 2 others that really do work. Even though I may experience a flare up due to bad eating habits (too many carbs) the flare up doesn't last as long and the pain is not as bad as long as I stop eating the wrong foods. I was using one that cost around $35 on Amazon and it worked too but decided to try this one bc of the price and this one works just as well. If I eat a 2nd meal in a day I'll use the Garden of Life Ultra enzyme for that second meal (because I found it b4 I found this product and I wanted to use it up before it expiredl). It works well too but I've not used it alone so I don't know how potent it is but this one works well alone.

I got this bottle because I was in search of a lower priced substitute for the exact formula I was taking previously from a different brand (that was more expensive). I trust the Solaray brand and I was surprised that this was priced at less than half the price of the other one. I spent hours reading about digestive enzymes. When I first took this exact formula from a different brand, I didn’t even know how great digestive enzymes were. I literally just tried them on a whim. What I experienced and realized more and more over time is that digestive enzymes are amazing for people like me. I almost always get bloated and feel extremely full and heavy after meals (particularly dinner). I hated that because all the work I put in to toning my abs was hidden behind the bloat. With digestive enzymes my bloat was literally gone. One capsule before meals, and bam, no bloat. As mentioned, I spent a lot of time researching digestive enzymes after my amazing experience with them. I saw some many different types of enzymes online, read all the reviews, countless health blogs, and the weighing in on whether the vegetarian ones are better or worse than the non vegetarian ones. Anyway, I decided to stick with what worked for me - Pancreatin -and at the exact same dosage. Now these particular ones from Solaray are the same except that they’re vegetarian. Apparently some people absorb them into the body differently and this also has some effect on how soon they activate. After using these for a while now my opinion is that these are nearly as good as the non vegetarian ones albeit cheaper, and more sustainably priced to be used on a daily basis. So, in conclusion I’m thrilled that I’ve introduced these into my diet. I don’t find them just as potent as my previous brand, but they’re still pretty effective and really make a big difference in my life (and my newfound flat stomach :)). I’d suggest that if you’re curious about digestive enzymes, you start with these. They contain Pancreatin which is said to address the digestion of carbs, proteins and fats. If Pancreatin alone doesn’t work for you, then try venturing out into different enzymes but my opinion is why introduce so many enzymes into your daily intake if not necessary? Digestive enzymes are slightly controversial so I’d rather stay on the safer side and not introduce more enzymes than necessary into my body.

These worked great for the intended purpose, however I got side effects. I have a constant cough and headache. And they seem to act as a fluid pill insofar as making me having no fluid in hands etc, drying of mouth and eyes, however I get a terrible rebound reaction and awaken each morning with my fingers like sausages and so swollen and mucusy I can hardly stand it. And I headache that nothing will take away. Its not just these. I've tried another brand and they did the same thing.

I purchased the enzymes because I needed something that would help with digestion and an inflamed pancreas. These are my go to from now on!!! I had my gallbladder removed years ago and I am now having issues with digestion. I take these with every meal and I have had a tremendous improvement with the relief of my pancreas. The effectiveness of this product is amazing!!
