The book covers a plethora of questions that may arise about Kratom and answers them with enough information to leave you feeling informed. There is not a lot of data and studies to back up the claims, but Kratom has not been heavily studied yet by Western medicine. I'm glad I picked this up and if you're on the fence or new to Kratom this is a great purchase. Review: Good bad and not ugly - Comprehensive evaluation of upside and (minor) risks of daily use of this misunderstood blessed medicine. Information is unbiased and complete.

Very informative.
Recently tried this in a smoothie at a java cafe. I have often arthritis in my neck, lower back, and knees. Was astonished at how I felt after drinking this - virtually pain free. Well the awareness of discomfort in the knees was positive enough to further explore Kratom. I will definitely talk to my doctor about including this as part of my ongoing routine! Thank you for the upfront facts!

Information is valid
Having used Kratom in the past, over 6 years ago, with Dr's approval, as an addition to my prescribed Chronic Pain Medication. I found this book interesting but it did little to address the questions of a Chronic Pain patient as to the benefits of its use. What new information I did get was very helpful.

Good to Know
I have learned a lot about kratom from this book. I have been taking kratom for about 3 years now. I am 77 years old with spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis and and chronic pain. No doctors want to give you opioids but they have given me 10 mg oxycodine and it barely helps and doesn't last long. Red Maeng da kratom helps me more than the oxy, and I alternate with Green Malay and Green Maeng da and sometimes even White vein kratom. I really don't know what I would do without the kratom. I do not take kratom and oxydodine together, ever, and wait 6 to 8 hours to change. I am more alert and have more relief with taking kratom and the oxycycodine make me slow and a little foggy. This book has information that everyone who is thinking about kratom should read.
