the spray was very pigmented, i have light brown hair with highlights and it looked pretty good for a spray dye!! it took two cans to cover my whole hair (expected, i got a lot of hair), but it turned out decent!! i used this for a skit at the summer camp i work at where we dressed up as the teen titans (i was starfire duh). it was super hot, so the pink did transfer onto my sweaty shoulders, as well as drip pink sweat down my face. i didn’t mind at all because that’s expected with a wash-out dye. the spray also will stain your hands if you touch your hair, but it comes off super easily with water. i was worried with my highlights that the pink would maybe dye it slightly, but nope! every ounce of pink came off in the shower, as well as no trace left on my body. the smell of it isn’t bad, it’s just weird. it’s like it’s trying to smell good?? but it’s off. in short, pigmented, easy to use, comes off in the shower flawlessly, definitely transfers, and makes your hair a little stiff to work with, weird smell.

I used this spray color for my Joker costume and it totally made the look! The color came out vibrant, even, and true to what I was going for — that wild, comic-book-accurate vibe. It dried quickly, didn’t feel sticky, and lasted all night through a party and photos without fading. I got so many compliments and a ton of people asked how I did my hair. Best part? It washed out easily with shampoo and left no residue. Highly recommend for costumes, cosplay, or anytime you need a bold temporary color that pops.

Got these for my son for a cosplay he was doing at NY Comicon. The color was hard to find, so chose this brand. It worked great even on his dark hair, and one can was enough to color his short hair. As wash-out color, though, it is water soluble, and he had trouble with it melting off his hair and all over his shirt as he sweat throughout the day. (I guess the showroom was hot, so if you will be in similar conditions beware.) It washed out easily in one shower.

I read several reviews that indicated this colored very well over darker hair, I figured it would be pretty great over my light brown hair....it was okay, I didn't want full coverage anyway, but the product applied in a fairly thin stream that made even, moderate coverage difficult. My biggest complaint is how awful it makes your hair feel. I have 2C curly hair and I used this for a cosplay because I thought it would be better than trying to shove all of my hair in a wig and not pull out my curls the way a non-spray temp dye would (I needed to wash it out that night, so temporary was necessary). My hair looked fine before spraying---it looked dry, frizzy, damaged, and gross immediately after spraying. In addition to making my hair generally feel gross, I had to set it with more hairspray, which was recommended to prevent bleeding. This barely helped prevent the dye from getting on other surfaces. I have long hair, I wanted to wear it down, every time I touched my hair to move it, I would get red dye on my hands. Red dye also got on the shirt I wore with my costume. Luckily there was no permanent damage to my hair, but it felt so gross and really impacted my enjoyment of the convention I was attending since I was constantly worrying about getting red dye on everything. Application is also messy. Luckily I have a cement floor that I'm not concerned about keeping pretty because it's easy to clean. This spray comes out of the can super fast in a fairly narrow stream---not like canned hairspray. I will note that the 1 star I allow it is genuine--- I have A LOT of hair. I was able to get light coverage on the top layer of my hair with about 1.5 cans of spray. It is also *kind of* easy to remove. I had to try washing my hands various times during the convention just to remove hair dye. If I used water alone (from my water bottle and a towel) it was a struggle to remove. If I used soap, it came off fairly easy. It did come out of my hair in the shower, but it took a very long time (again, lots of hair). If you must use this product and have curly hair, I recommend deep conditioning after washing it out.

Great hair spray! It really has vibrant color. It will rub off on clothing and hands over the course of wearing it. It truly washes out after one shampoo! Slightly red in my daughters scalp after she showered, but nothing left on her hair!

Bright orange powder in a spray can. The color is strong and true, but looks dusty, like talcum powder. The color adheres very lightly to hair. Color shakes/wipes/brushes off easily and gets all over everything.

I used the purple spray for my Halloween costume and was happy that it was effective in coloring my jet black hair. The spray goes on wet and i had a little dripping down the side of my face, but it didnt stain when i wiped it away. it dries on the hair within 10 min. When it dries, it does make the hair a little stiff. I went to bed without washing it out and there was some transfer to my sheets/pillow case, but it didn't stain. The color washed completely out of my hair after 1 shampoo. I recommend putting an old towel over your clothes and spray outside.

Great product! Used for temporary highlights. Easy to use, smells great! Washes out easily. Would definitely purchase again.
