Review: Excellent, comfortable support for foot and ankle injuries - After I gave myself a pretty nasty ankle AND foot injury, I couldn't find anything that gave me enough support for both. I originally ordered the less expensive version of this one, but changed my mind and ordered this one because it has a pump on the ankle portion that allows you to adjust the support level in another way besides the velcro. Overall I really found that this gave me excellent support for the foot and ankle and wasn't overly bulky. I mean - it's an injury boot, so obviously something is going on that keeps you from feeling like you're walking on a cloud. But I found myself saying over and over, "You know, it's a lot more comfortable than you'd expect." And it really is. The worst part (besides the injury, of course) is the bulkiness while throwing my leg over to get on and off the couch, but it still isn't that bad. It comes with extra padding so you can get a good fit and the adjustibility is great to support your injury. One of the most difficult things is that because it's quite thick on the bottom, it raises your foot about an inch, so it's tricky to find a shoe for the other foot that matches the height. I'd also suggest that you loosen the velcro when elevating your foot so it doesn't go numb, but it's easy to tighten and loosen. I'd definitely recommend this.
Review: YEEEEESSS!!! Finally found comfort! - Broke my foot two weeks ago & was struggling with the boot they gave me in the ER. I'd compare it to a "flip-flop" with two pieces of velcro on it! Then I came across THIS! It had so many good reviews, and now I see why! A mere 5 minutes in it, and my foot already feels so much better with more support, compression, and ease to get around my house! I found it very easy to get into, pump works great, the fit/size chart is spot-on, and the outer "rubber" is non-slip and stable. I don't care that it's bulkier than that garbage I got in the ER...it's doing EXACTLY what my foot needed so that it can heal and reduce the pain I was in! Can't wait to show my ortho doctor next month! This purchase was a jackpot, and since my knee braces are getting worn out, I'll be replacing them with this company's product too. Worth every cent!

**Q: For those that I’ve already bought the food how do you clean the inside. It’s getting a little stinky**
A: Unstrap it from the hard plastic part and hand wash only! It will get damaged if you machine wash. Also hang/air dry, do not put in the dryer.

**Q: Will this boot be helpful if you have plantar Fasciitis ?**
A: Probably make it FEEL better, but not make it GET better.    Stretching and ice will heal it, this will just immobilize it. 
 There are insoles for plantar fasciitis that are probably less expensive and more comfortable.

**Q: How wide is this boot?**
A: I have a wide foot, and the boot had more than enough room for me to wear a thick sock and use the foam padding around my foot.

**Q: Will this be good for a broken or fractured heel?**
A: According to a quick search, we found the answer to be yes:

Treatment

Rest, ice, compression and elevation (RICE). Rest (staying off the injured foot) is needed to allow the fracture to heal. ...

Immobilization. Sometimes the foot is placed in a cast or cast boot to keep the fractured bone from moving.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, comfortable support for foot and ankle injuries

After I gave myself a pretty nasty ankle AND foot injury, I couldn't find anything that gave me enough support for both. I originally ordered the less expensive version of this one, but changed my mind and ordered this one because it has a pump on the ankle portion that allows you to adjust the support level in another way besides the velcro. Overall I really found that this gave me excellent support for the foot and ankle and wasn't overly bulky. I mean - it's an injury boot, so obviously something is going on that keeps you from feeling like you're walking on a cloud. But I found myself saying over and over, "You know, it's a lot more comfortable than you'd expect." And it really is. The worst part (besides the injury, of course) is the bulkiness while throwing my leg over to get on and off the couch, but it still isn't that bad. It comes with extra padding so you can get a good fit and the adjustibility is great to support your injury. One of the most difficult things is that because it's quite thick on the bottom, it raises your foot about an inch, so it's tricky to find a shoe for the other foot that matches the height. I'd also suggest that you loosen the velcro when elevating your foot so it doesn't go numb, but it's easy to tighten and loosen. I'd definitely recommend this.
