The nut inside the pole was assembled at the factory crooked so the pole would not tighten down to the base without wobbling too much. My husband replaced the bolt assembly so I can use it. I didn't want t have to deal with the return since it such a big box. Just have to be careful when moving it so it doesn't loosen from the base and even though there is a lock on the pole to raise up or down, it will still pull up if you grab it and try to move it to another location. Otherwise it works well. I see the price has gone up about $10 since I purchased a week ago. Still a good deal in comparison to other options.

Works very well for ipad air when sitting or standing or lying down. I've used it reading or referencing on the couch, cooking in the kitchen, and reading while doing crunches ;) (can position with screen facing down- seems to work pretty well, may be good for lying in bed, on couch or floor this way too).holds it securely and doesn't seem to tip over.wish it adjusted a little bit more as the neck isn't particularly flexible, but it works very well.I found getting a kindle touch or toshiba thrive in it not to work however :/. I think I could get the kindle touch in with a cover on though. same with the air, I didn't have to take the cover (plastic backing and flip cover front) off to use it which was really nice.

This was the first one I've bought of this type. It was OK and it worked for a while but it is cheaply made and breaks easily! If you want something that will last, I recommend my second purchase of a Stand For Stuff Swing Holder Universal Floor Stand for Tablets and E-Readers (SFS-FSU-A-) . Yes, you'll pay more but it will last and you will be so happy with it! This one is in pieces in my garage. :(

Works well, I use the stand while riding a stationary bike, when reading on my kindle in a chair and at my home office desk to work on my Samsung Note 10.1 tablet (on the stand). Saves desk space when working and is sturdy enough to type on he tablet while in the stand. Only negative is that it didn't go together completely with the main shaft not completely screwing together, will take it apart and use wrenches but it should go together with hand tightening only in my opinion

I was relieved to find out that it works with my 7" Kindle. I purchased it before fully reading all the specs and it says that it supports down to 8" so I thought I might have to do some modifications to make it work with my Kindle Fire. It fits in the brackets nicely and I believe it could hold something even smaller.Just know you need an allen wrench (sometimes called Hex Key) to put this together. I'm not sure of the size but it's a pretty standard size. It's not very clear in the instructions, but you use it to hold the screw in place while you twist the top part onto the base.

Works reasonably well, but within loosens within a short period of time. And then needs to be tightened again. Would also prefer that it adjusts to more sizes of tablets.

This was a gift for Christmas. The recipient has it set up with his iPad using an app next to his bicycle trainer. He didn't want something that took a lot of floor space, so the ones with wheels were not considered. He gets lots of questions from his cyclist pals wanting to know where it came from.So It is a good choice.

I bought this for an asus prime and it doesn't fit. My husband had to bend the metal bracket a little so I could slide it in, but it is not easy to get in and out. It is too small by about a quarter inch.

I have this next to my bed. I wish the gooseneck was a little longer, but it’s very sturdy and holds my iPad firmly where I want it. It doesn’t bounce or sag. I can swing it out of the way to get out of bed.

I am disappointed with this stand. The table part doesn't stay up so it twists down all the time and the entire stand is unstable, I've had to secure it onto the side of my bed. I gave it 2 stars because it's still better than having my tablet on my legs.

This is the second one - the first one had a broken connection.This is a replacement for one with a defective base connection.I's OK, but it did SQUEEK quite a bit when my wife first used itIf you turn the holder, do it clockwise or you loosen the stand on the base.Good if you have on older, heavy iPad like we do...

Die obere Halterung lässt sich nicht fest genug anziehen. Tablett dreht sich relativ leicht weg. Für den Fuß muss man genug Platz einplanen, er ist groß.
