I would klike to replace it with a small ball head but I can't get the existing head off this tripod. Has light weight, convenient with travel pouch if I take it outdoors and use it on stationary objects. Must be careful not to offset center of gravity with camera mounted (2 lbs.), but anchor it if becoming tippy.
