Worked as intended
Appreciate the crank sensor plug since it was going in a boat with no crank sensor. So much more expensive than just buying a seal though, no idea why GM switched to one-time use timing covers.

DOES NOT FIT CORRECTLY '98 GMC Jimmy 4.3 Vortec
One star is too high. Thumbs down/finger up.-It didn't fit. Period, hard stop.The bolt holes BARELY lined up enough to get them in, and only the rubber grommets allowed that much flexibility.The lower sealing face didn't fit, by almost halfan inch total... quarter inch on each side. I had to trim it that much and it barely fit at that.To make sure it sealed, I had to use black RTV... and I hate the stuff.I'll never buy from this brand again.
