Unbelievably Poor Choice
We got this for a daughter for her birthday...her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw it. What a great present it was! Or so we thought. Not only does it have ZERO memory and will not work unless you have an expansion card, but the card that is SHOWN in the images above (a typical SD card), isn't the one that actually works. We know because we tried to use it. Nope. Damn near ruined the card we tried to use. Why use an image of an SD card that does not work? On top of that, the circular navigation on front is just absurdly designed. You don't press the center to "select" something...that took a while to figure out. The instructions are virtually worthless and it uses a charging cord that was typical...circa 2000. Not even a micro USB cord, it was the thicker kind that was in use before that. Lesson learned. Try to save money and you'll regret it. Just bite the bullet and buy one that has good reviews and actually comes with built-in memory. Or, one that actually uses a real normal SD card and not something that was so out of date that unless you look for one off eBay you'll never find it new. In short: AVOID THIS mp3 player at ALL COSTS. An utterly enormous waste of money.

5 years later...
Still works like a charm almost 4-5 years after purchase. I'm really surprised! It's easy enough to use, too, lightweight and discreet... I remember using this to listen to music in class in highschool, when the teachers didn't allow phones. The sound quality leaves a bit to be desired though, and there's no Bluetooth option. All in all when I purchased this, I was only really looking for a nostalgia trip, if anything. I'm delighted this lasted as long as it has!

Only will connect operate with an SD card installed and it's not bluetooth
I have several Sandisk/Sansa mp3 players and fairly knowledgeable on their use. I bought this one for my wife when her Sansa quit. (they are notorious for locking up). But these all have "internal storage" 4-8gb. This device has NO INTERNAL STORAGE! I struggled for hours trying to get my computer to recognize the player to add music. I finally tried slipping in a SD card, and walla, it found it and I download music. I have tried listening so I can't speak to operation or sound quality. I'm impressed it has video, but I couldn't expect it to be a quality to watch videos? There's no mention of no internal storage or "you MUST add an SD card for storage." Another misleading issue is on the instructions, which seem universal for another mp3 player is that it has bluetooh. I'm sure it doesn't because I couldn't locate it. And to credit of seller it does not mention it in their ad, but owners find it in the instructions, thinking it has this capability. If the operation and sound quality are good, this will be an good buy as a personal mp3 player because 64Gb is a massive amount of music, and mini SD cards are cheap now. Good value!

Great little player (once I figured out how to use it)
Only had for about a week now.....got for my daughter to listen to music on the way to school. Works great. Just had some trouble figuring out how to get music on it! (Now granted, I'm not good with technology!) It definitely requires an SD card before you can put music onto it. Then u can download music off your computer and onto the device. Easy to use and the battery life is good!

Decent MP3 player
I put a bunch of music on this thing, and I will admit that I barely use the thing, but so far I have only charged it once, and it's been sitting there for a long time on the shelf, and still reports a full battery. I took it apart to see the innards, looking for any major design flaws, and it doesn't appear to be that poorly engineered, either. The UI is a nightmare to navigate, changing some of the controls you'd expect from an ipod clone device to be different just for the sake of making it different. The center click button, which you'd expect to work like an enter button in the main UI is actually the back button, and the top menu button on the keypad is mapped to be the enter. It'd definitely be better if it had homebrew software on it. The screen is also nothing to write home about, I wouldn't use the video playback feature of this device at all, instead, I'd just opt to use it for its fairly decent audio output if you want a cheap MP3 player that you don't have to worry so much about getting damaged, thanks to the low price tag. It also might make a decent MP3 player for a child that you don't want to give some expensive, fancy device to, especially if they tend to break things!

Extremely cheap, poor quality and frustrating to use.
Horrible product. Incredibly cheap for a reason. I wanted an MP3 player my daughters could knock around and I not feel too bad about the loss. The interface is illogical, frustrating and completely unworkable. You get what you pay for. The ear buds were extremely poor quality, bordering on dangerous as they dismantled themselves as soon as they came out of the box.

Cannot beat this price
My 8 year old daughter (was 7 when she used this originally but it broke and we got this replacement) had not problem learning how to use this. She was very happy when she got this replacement. We are not an ipod family, no children have phones or tablets so if you're the type of family that needs an easy way to tap and play this is not for you. The buttons have a hard mechanical click feel and the graphics are archaic but it functions exactly to what we need it for, a simple mp3 player for our girl's bus ride.
