Inner Reflections 2014 Engagement Calendar

For those of you who have been getting this calendar for years, you will find some changes in the color and format. The photos are still back to back but they seem to be so vivid in color. My favorite photos were winter and fall but overall, I did not think the photos were as spectacular as years past. The date and photo pages are now cream colored instead of whitish. The days of the week are black but the day numbers are darker beige so they are not as quickly visible. That is a feature I do not like. Three full months are in a column instead of two like 2013. That may be why the spacing to write in each day is smaller. The font for the month at the top of the page is different and in a beige color. It is a pleasing font to me but again harder to read. The quotes from Paramahansa Yogananda are still inspiring. Hope this helps because I do look to the reviews to help me when purchasing items.

I started getting the Inner Reflections Engagement Calendar in 2008 and have purchased one every year since. I don't even look at other engagement calendars, because this is the one for me. I love the great photography, the thought-provoking quotes from Paramahansa Yogananda, having holidays listed on the weekly pages, and having pages that cover a week, pages that cover a whole month, and pages with yearly calendars. Like many other reviewers, I noticed immediately that the calendar had changed this year, the difference being that, while I loved the old format, I like the new one even better! I love the new colors of paper, the new colors of type, the more saturated photos. While some of the points made by reviewers who gave the calendar a poor review are true, I think the calendar is even more beautiful, and I will have no problem in making small - if any - adjustments to the new format in terms of how I actually use the engagement calendar. Life is change, and every new year brings some change into life. This year's calendar is only reflecting that.

I have used this Engagement Calendar for the past 4 years, and in the past gave it 5 stars.This year's version is a bit disappointing because of the new layout. There is MUCH less space to write for each day, both in vertical spacing and in horizontal spacing. They've also included 3 months of dates on each page, unlike the 2 months included in the past (all unnecessary in my opinion). Even many of the photo pages are not as attractive due to new layouts without any borders or framing.Still, beautiful and inspiring...

Several years ago a client gave me this calendar for Christmas. i was so impressed with the stunning photography and the wise messages that i have been using it every year for appointments and for a mini-diary. The sharp, glossy photos alone are cause for contemplation and they harmonize wonderfully with the message below. It has a good, solid feel when handling it, but it's too big and heavy to carry in a purse. that's why one has an i-pod. I will continue to use this calendar as long as they make it.

I have also loved this calendar for many years now, and thought buying a new one was a no-brainer... until the back page of 2014 would no longer remain attached to the book. Did anyone else have this problem? I also noted the change in photograph color and the layout changes, but I was ready to accept them... until it seemed as if my appointment book was less expertly bound as well! I don't know why all the changes were made to an already best-selling product, but I'm sad to say I'm truly reticent to buy the 2015 edition. I've been searching for a new planner as nice as this one *used* to be, for weeks.

As usual the calendar is inspiring to our mind and soul. It is a feast for our the eyes and our whole being. Every year I purchase one for myself and several friends. I put mine on an easel in my living room to display the photo and quote only, I don't use it as a calendar.

This is the most inspirational diary with gorgeous enlightening pictures and movinginspirational quotes to enlighten us to greater growth evolvement and understanding.I buy one of these diaries every year and all my friends are beginning to also. Thanksso much for such a beautiful product!

I, my family and friends have used this calendar for years. The combination of non-religious, non-denominational, spiritual sayings and beautiful nature photos brings expansion and inspiration with each turn of the page. I recommend it for those who revel in seeing God's handiwork everywhere in the natural world.

This is a beautiful desk calendar, full of amazing photos and uplifting quotes. The series has won many awards. I buy it every year and it never fails to reach the parts most calendars can't reach!

Beautiful. diary. I bought it as a present and was very pleased with it. Lovely combination of beautiful photography and inspiring words.

It's nice but it is not what I expected at all. As such I've not really used it, shame though as I never did get a calendar I love this year

lovely reflections but all the pictures were photoshopped and looked artifical. Sent it to charity shop hope someone will like it.
