The OS doesn't do much other than the basics. I've owned the Gear 2, Original Pebble, Moto 360, and LG G watch R and while I did not expect this to match any of their capabilities, I had hoped this would be a good beginner smartwatch to introduce friends or family to use. The watch is bulky and does not compliment the curve of your wrist. It actually made my wrist very uncomfortable. All the other smartwatches I've listed above feel perfectly fine on my wrist.If this is all you can afford and you really want to get into the wearables, then the Omate X isn't the absolute worst choice in the world.
