works really well might be slightly slower than some toasters but it gets your toast right every time

A necessity after a mouse launched out of original toaster I had one morning. This is the 2nd time I've purchased this particular toaster and was happy with it the first time so hunted it down again. Looks as pictured, toasting is slightly uneven, always lighter at the top but otherwise works well. I do wish they would more clearly mark the knobs so you know just where it's pointing though, had to mark with a silver sharpie on both the original and this one to know what level I am toasting at.

Black & Decker is a great brand. Love the toaster..it’s light, compact and makes great toast!

I don't know why folks on here complained about not toasting !!! It does a fine job !!! Maybe it will break tomorrow, but for now everything is good

Not much of a bread eater, but the hubby says it’s better than great! He was a bit skeptical and worried he might mess it up, but he is good to go now! Love how it looks on my counter !

I chose this toaster based on its good reviews but I haven’t had any luck with even toasting. It burns one side and barely toasts the other. I can look down into the toaster and see the difference in the heating elements. Disappointing.

B&D is one of y favorite brands, in fact I have various items and so far I will continue buying this brand, but this toaster first fills cheap and the not to good part is that takes way longer to toast than the one before that wasn’t B&D, but works.For the price is ok but not 5 stars.

The roaster was plugged in but off and caught fire one day less than 6 months after purchase. Luckily we were at home and could immediately put it out.One star because until then it made great toast:D

Great little Toaster. Great price. The only thing I would change, is I would get a 4 slice option. Has a little cancel button, has a bagel button, has a defrost/frozen button, settings/numbers go from 1-to-7.I usually have mine on 6/7, because I like my bagels well done (extra toasted when I go to Tim Hortons or other places).This does just that, in one go around.I threw my Toaster out years ago, just didn't use it, so I figured "why do I even need it??". Then, of course within a few weeks, started getting a "toast & peanut butter" craving .... except now I didn't have a Toaster. 😫I then continued to go YEARS without one, would just use the oven or stove top with a buttered pan... but as I got older, I got lazier, LOL.I finally gave in and bought a Toaster, but not after spending 6 months or so looking at Toasters. 😄 Came across this beauty. Bought it. Love it.So if you're looking for a good toaster, and don't want to spend $150+ on one (because although you NEED a toaster, you're not actually going to use it enough to justify spending more than $100, or $150+ on a super Fancy-Brand Name, like a Dolce & Gabbana one ) ... THIS, LADIES & GENTS, IS THE TOASTER FOR YOU!!It has everything you want and need in a toaster (except hold 4-slices/2 Bagels at a time).So don't be me. Product is not meant for the Indian market. It is 120v with a 2 flat pin plug. Cannot be used in Indian households of 220-240v electric output. A waste of money. If plugged in it will blow/fuse.
