Wow, Hope You Like It Super Bitter
Dayummm, this is the ultimate marmalade for adults. It is sooo bitter, and the usual bits of peel are sizeable chunks. I used it in a couple of Xmas cookies; an orange/chocolate rugelach, and a sticky cranberry gingerbread. Its stout bitter orange flavor stands up to any amount of sugar or cream cheese. Not for the kids, nor the faint of heart.

Tang on your tongue
Great marmalade, tangy taste from the Seville oranges comes through well. Nice consistency and not too sweet.

This stuff puts the "O" in orange!
I enjoy orange marmalade from time to time. I've only ever experienced the common store brands from our local grocery stores...until today. And all I can say about the flavor of this marmalade is*****WOW**** ! This definitely puts the "O" in orange. It's a wonderful experience. Firstly it's packed with lots of orange rinds. And not microscopic sized, but relatively big sized pieces. Honestly, it's quite amazing. The orange flavor is pleasantly stronger than the garden variety grocery marmalades. Rarely would I ever pay a price like this for a product of this kind, but this marmalade is TOTALLY worth the price! I originally tried this company's black currant jam and was so delicious that I decided to try this orange marmalade. I'm hooked. Don't worry about the shipping of the glass jar it's in. Both times it arrived in its own double boxed container unharmed.

Great product but jars broken due to poor packaging.
5 stars for product 0 stars for product packaging at the warehouse ( no padding/bubblewrap for fragile glass items), Love this product but item was sent without protection inside a cardboard box and predictably the glass jars arrived broken and a sticky gooey mess. This is the second time I have ordered a 6 pack of the tiptree orange marmalade and the other time one of the jars was broken as well but I didnโt discover the broken jar until long after I received the item. Edited to add: this is a more bitter orange marmalade made with bitter Seville oranges. This is not your typical sweet American style orange marmalade. Buyer beware as this may not be to your liking if you like super sweet jams or are just not into acquiring a taste for new/different foods. I find it plenty sweet with a much more interesting flavor profile from the Seville oranges. I also really enjoy the bitterness and texture the orange peels add to the marmalade.

Thumbs Up from a Confessed Marmaholic
Ok, first a confession. I am a marmaholic I have a bagel or English muffin with orange marmalade almost every morning. And have for as long as I can remember Most "American" orange marmalades are all wrong. They use sweet oranges and taste like jellified orange juice. Uh . . . no. A proper orange marmalade is made from bitter oranges - particularly Seville oranges. And preferably it includes chopped pieces of the orange peel. Good marmalades are typically distinguished by the volume and size of these pieces: Fine Cut, Medium Cut, or Thick Cut. I like all types or marmalades, but typically prefer medium cut. Now, I have found some pretty good marmalades from the US and Canada. My personal favorites are Trader Joe's Seville Orange Marmalade (which you can buy here at Amazon or at about 1/4 the price directly from TJ), followed by - believe it or not - Safeway Select Seville Orange Marmalade which AFAIK is the best bang for the buck you can find. They are both real good, and for most folks should probably be all you would ever want. But I'm a marmaholic. I want more. Great Britain is the Land of Orange Marmalade. And there are a few brands imported from England which you might find on your grocer shelf here in the states. The most common ones I see are Dundees (which IMO is not very good), Mackays (maybe even a little worse), and Roses (probably best of this lot). Now I am not saying that these brands are bad, they are just . . . meh. There are so much better options - including the ones from TJ and Safeway that I mentioned above. To go beyond that, you generally have to resort to specialty food markets and the Internet . . . like Amazon! Here you will find some very good British orange marmalades. Duerrs. Frank Cooper. Robertsons (their Golden Shred is especially nice for a thin cut marmalade). All of these represent a step up from the options mentioned above, IMO. Then there is Wilkin & Sons Tiptree Marmalades. IMO, these are the best of this breed of imported marmalades, across the board. Their Crystal Marmalade is an excellent fine cut marmalade. Likewise the Tawny Marmalade for a thick cut marmalade - which I believe is a best seller here at Amazon. But the Tiptree Orange - a medium cut marmalade - is my favorite of the lot. The consistency of the jelly is something I have not found in any other marmalade available in the states. Almost perfect. The size, color, consistency, and volume of orange peel are also almost perfect. And again not matched by any other marmalade that I know of which is available in the states. If I was going to give one jar to someone who had never tried orange marmalade before, this would probably be it. Now mind you, this is NOT my favorite orange marmalade in the world. My favorites are all private label marmalades for Fortnum & Mason, an upscale market in London and the royal grocer for more than 150 years. However, AFAIK no one in America carries their marmalades. You used to have to travel to London (which I have done a few times) but in the past few years they have exported to the US with a very hefty shipping charge (I have ordered directly from them this way). And I am guessing that you have to have a real passion for marmalade and have eaten a lot of it from a lot of different brands over the years before you would find any significant difference between the Fortnum & Mason marmalades and this Tiptree Orange marmalade here from Wilkin & Sons. Bottom line, if you are looking for a top drawer orange marmalade, and assuming that you are not nearly as obsessed with marmalade as I am, then you can end your search right here. This is the real deal.

Pretty Bitter
Not a fan of this product. That said, it may be how quality orange marmalade is truly supposed to taste. To us, it was like eating and orange - peel and all. Not overly sweet but boy, that bitterness was over the top.

A marmalade that will compliment almost anything!
Although a bit pricey, this marmalade is well worth it! The flavor is excellent and not overly sweet.

An excellent classic marmalade
An essential end to a classic British breakfast, or maybe just the only component for some, is good toast, real butter and a proper marmalade, accompanied by a good cup of tea. Sadly, most products masquerading as marmalade are tasteless, insipid attempts at the real thing and quite simply are not worth eating. Wilkins Tiptree Orange is one of the few products that does cut the mustard in this respect, and it is my marmalade of choice. The best ever was made by my mum, but sadly she is no longer with us - Wilkins Tiptree Orange is IMNSHO the best of the bulk manufactured marmalades and only a rather overpriced Spanish marmalade comes close, although I will put up with FrankCooper's Oxford marmalade if those two are not available. Wilkins make several different types of marmalade, but only the Tiptree Orange hits the spot for me, although their Old Tawny is not bad.

Good Marmalade
Good Marmalade. Too expensive though and not any better than other quality brands in shops.

The gold standard for marmalade.
Lets be honest, ordering a glass jar of anything on amazon is stupid. On the other hand it lives up to it's prestige and tastes fantastic, too bad the first jar broke.
