My cat was so picky about having his claws trimmed but after ordering these nail clippers he is such a baby but they get the job done quick and easy! I love how they are shaped, and the angle on the clippers helps immensely. As to the safety, you need to know what your doing bc these clipper are not high tech, please watch videos and things before trimming your animals nails. There is so much risk for a mistake that can cause discomfort and infection. My cat loves to nibble and chew on the handle sometimes and they’ve held up wonderfully! Definitely a good investment for the price. Very effective!

excellent product. way better than my old one. very sharp blade so it cuts and not crushes nails. but it does exactly what i was specifically looking for. the jaws open extra wide to get around thick heavy nails. my old clippers couldn't open wide and became useless. build quality is a little thin but with the very sharp blade you don't have to squeeze hard to cut. all at a great price

I would love for these cat clippers to have a guide on them for where to trim the cats nails. I do not think many people know how to trim their cats nails and I think when selling a product like this it needs to have a guide. The clippers are okay, but make sure to keep away from water and dry thoroughly after washing.

Bought this to trim my dog's feet originally. After I lost my dogs, I had 2 kittens dumped on my porch. I knew to save my furniture I would have to keep their toenails trimmed. This was perfect for the kittens. Easy to use, well made. They were worth the money and would buy again. Great for both dog and cat.

This is a small light clippers. Would work better for small cat sized nails. Not sturdy enough for my grooming business and daily heavy use.
