Designs for Health C3 Curcumin Complex, Curcuminoid Turmeric, 60 Capsules

This is a very good Curcumin. It is a Curcumin Complex which contains other needed anti-inflammatory ingredients. I can tell the difference in inflammation since I have been taking this supplement. I also like the brand for other supplements, Designs for Health.

Like activated charcoal and vitamin C, this curcurmin has a permanent place on my supplement shelf. I use curcurmin for all the various reasons most people do: it’s anti-inflammatory, it’s an antioxidant, it increases BDNF, and it helps with the arthritic stiffness in my joints. However, I noticed with several curcurmin supplements that my body produced a rather sharp body-odor when I used it (my pits stank when I worked out.) It bothered me enough that I finally brought it up to my Naturopath and she suggested this brand for its ability to stay within the digestive system, or something. Bottom line, it does everything I want it to do and I am my normal, pleasant smelling self. Love.

I tried other brands, over the counter and even from a popular health food store. They did not help at all. Found this brand totally by accident. Thought I would give it one more try. Amazing! I have rheumatoid arthritis. Even on my meds I am not pain free. This product has taken 90% of my pain away. I convinced my sister to try it for her sinusis and her knee. She is really a hard sell. But, she did it for me. She said it was the first time in 2 years she could breath out of her nose while sleeping. Everyone is different so you just have to keep trying to fine the right fit.

In today’s world where we are all surrounded with toxins and germs, it is, in my opinion, to keep our bodies ready - instead of waiting and then expecting some drug to do the trick. Curcumin should be considered as part of your top 7 supplements, behind D3, B complex, lots of C (I take 3-4 gms) , zinc, NAC and magnesium Inflammation isn’t good for anyone and can contribute to a host of problems/illnesses. For me - this is the only form that does NOT hurt my stomach. Finally, this aging body has yet one more layer of protection, thanks to DFH formula. As a bonus - it also helps some with nagging pain, often.

This is good stuff. I take 1/4 capsule in the morning after drinking coffee with pepper, and coconut oil. Then I take the rest of capsule before dinner. Feeling great 😊

Occasionally after I eat something I'm not supposed to (I have food sensitivities) my hands will get very red and hot. When this happens I'll pop in one of these and usually within the hour my hands start to return to normal. Plus, I can have the piece of mind that it's not making my GI tract bleed like it would had I taken NSAIDs instead. Works very well and I'd recommend it.

My wife loves this for many reasons. She uses it for inflammation as she is allergic to nsaids--she even uses it for headaches. We usually just buy it from our chiropractor's office but it seemed more convenient to buy from here. Seems like it was a bad idea. It arrived packaged the same but when she opened it, there was yellow powder everywhere. It is such a nuisance to have yellow powder (that stains) all over your hands after taking this medicine. Every time, she has to wash her hands after taking this and she has never had to do this before. She has been on this for over two years and never had this problem until now.

Bottle of Curcumin came well packaged and arrived as promised. Purchased product to help improve the results of my a1c testing which determines my status as far as pre diabetes condition is concerned. Do not have a definitive update at this time on its effectiveness. UPDATE: My a1C test was worse than the previous year as revealed in my last blood test, so this product didn't help me in any way that I can determine as that set forth by others reviewing this product. Maybe it helps and maybe it doesnt, but I think most supplements produced these days just pass through the body with little effect, if any at all, do not get absorbed by the digestive tract, and just increase the cost of one's waste products. I will not order again.
