1010 Micro Case (Black)

I love these little rugged cases for traveling! Especially when it comes to accessing various items when flying. Even though these cases are compact, they still hold quite a bit more stuff than you would think they were capable of holding! They are SUPER sturdy and provide far more protection than a conventional zipper bag or packing cube. I am using this Red one to store my complete Airliner Audio Kit which includes all of the following components stored in this single case... 1) Apple AirPods Pro 2 w/case 2) AirPod Ear Piece Kit 3) SafeFly Dual Bluetooth Transmitter - For connecting my AirPods to the Aircraft's Entertainment System 4) Aircraft Specific Dual Plug Stereo Adapter for plugging the SafeFly into Aircraft's Headphone Jack x 2 5) Renmou Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Pad with USB-C for connecting to Anker Power Bank 6) Microfiber Cleaning Cloth (Used as padding to keep everything packed tight in case and as a cleaning cloth) 7) Standard Memory Foam Ear Plugs It's great when you arrive at your seat on the plane and break out this case. In this specific example I can quickly assemble my Bluetooth audio system and integrate it into the aircraft's entertainment system in less than 3 minutes start to finish. Having every single piece of this kit contained in this one compact case allows me to have my entire audio interface up and running before we even push back from the gate, which is always a pleasure! If you are looking for an alternative to the conventional soft zipper pouches for carrying stuff like what I have listed above, I would strongly recommend giving one of these a try! I am sure you will become a fan just like me! I currently own (3) of these and am considering picking up a 4th for my next big trip to Europe. I am always finding new uses for these cases each time I start packing for my next cruise and/or flying trip.

I’m a cave explorer, like the kind that are so tight you have to take your helmet off (and sometimes more) just to fit through a passage. I trust this Pelican case to protect my 18650 headlamp batteries. My headlamp is my lifeline underground so protecting the batteries makes sense. This box does just that. Pelican cases are the most durable, waterproof, lightweight, easy to use, and space- efficient boxes you can find. The 1010 is a small box, see photos, but Pelican has a range of box sizes. I’ve got multiple. These boxes do not lock but in my 15 years of using them I have never had the latch open up accidentally in my cave pack. I also use it for water sports! Great for a day out on the kayak!

I initially bought a KZ case for my IEMs for church. It was just a bit too small. It took secearl minutes to get the IEMs wrapped up just the right way and maneuvered into the case just so . . . so as to not pinch any of the wires or cram the lid down on my new IEMs. This Pelican 1010 case is just the right size for me to wrap up loosly the IEMs and cable, toss them in and close it. No issues because it's a couple of inches bigger than the KZ case. Don't get me wrong, the KZ case is great and very secure, but if your IEMs are full size (like most of the KZ, Shure, CCA etc. of similar or larger sizes are), then the smallish KZ case may be too small. This one is big enough so that I can loosely wrap up my IEMs after a gig, close it, and toss them in my backpack and be gone. The smaller KZ case required several minutes of wrapping just the right size, and carefully adjusting everything before I closed the case. The Pelican 1010 is big enough - but not too big - that you can just wrap, toss, and go. I also have enough room in the Pelican 1010 to keep a couple of extra collar clips and ear tips without any of it getting in the way. When you gig regularly, for church or elsewhere, you have to have extra tips, collar clips, and cinches just in case (WHEN!) something happens at the gig. This case is just the right size. And it has the carabiner to keep it attached to my backpack for gigs. Super solid and just the right size. I just wish I had known about the size issue before I bought the KZ case first. Great little case for my metal detecting finds.

Compact, Tough, and Extremely Reliable The Pelican 1010 Micro Case is a small but incredibly durable piece of gear. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-built, exactly what you’d expect from Pelican. The hard shell provides excellent protection, and I feel confident using it to store small electronics, keys, memory cards, and other valuables. Fit my in-ear monitors perfectly. I have bumped the case on certain grounds, not on purpose, and constantly travel with it. This pelican case protects it.

Well received and really good quality

Attractive and well made. I suspect made to fit a pack of American sized cigarettes (I think - don't smoke). Also large enough to fit bank/credit cards and cash to keep dry which is handy. It won't fit the majority of cell phones.

Got this little case to place eye contacts in for my hockey bag. Easy to find in there due to the yellow and does a great job of storing and protecting my lenses.

perfect size for my need for a small sturdy tool box. big enough so I can probably stuff some cables in it as well.

Un producto ya bastante conocido. Muy buena calidad de los materiales. La goma interior es suave y texturizada. El color amarillo se ve súper bien. Cierra y abre fácilmente y trae purga para la presión. No es completamente contra el agua pero va a resistir muy bien los golpes, salpicaduras, lluvia y mantener tus objetos libre de polvo y tierra también. Trae un mosquetón básico para cargarla incluido. El espacio interior de este modelo es pequeño pero suficiente para algunas cosas y con buena altura.
