I compared the Daytona helmet to another, older 3/4 helmet I have. It is indeed lower profile and overall smaller shell. No bobble head. I replaced my older DOT half helmet and I am happy with this. I bought this based on the low profile claims, price and the ability to snap a shield on in the rain. Added bonus- ratchet chin strap. All looks good.
