Great cymbal!
I have been playing about a year and a half, and I might not be the most experienced player, but I know my stuff. This cymbal is well worth about 100$! For this price, you could get another good cymbal, but not with all of the qaulities of this cymbal. The Meinl 16" HCS Crash is a great cymbal for begginers or pros, it is extremley durable, loud, and tough. I beat the heck outta my cymbals, but i hit em the right way so they last, and this one especially puts up with a lot. An overall great buy, GET YOURSELF ONE!

The HCS line is exceedingly good quality for the price
I was looking to replace my hi hats not to long ago and figured I'd try out the HCS line as my finances are limited. I was so pleased with the sound and quality that I have since replaced all the cymbals in my kit with Meinl HCS cymbals. If you're looking for cymbals that play and sound above their pricepoint, look into Meinl.

but at a more reasonable price this cymbal performs as good (and maybe even better) than those other cymbals
Never purchased from Meinl before, but was pleasantly surprised with this cymbal. Over the past few months its retained its clean, crisp sound with no scratch marks at all. For the past few years I've been using more expensive cymbals at all my gigs, but at a more reasonable price this cymbal performs as good (and maybe even better) than those other cymbals. Would recommend for both practice and performance.

Every time i want to purchase a new cymbal i immediately go to the Meinl hcs series. They are less expensive then most Meinl cymbals but sound just as good. This crash cymbal has a great sound just like the other ones and is very durable. I highly recommend this and any Meinl products.
