I plan on buying another pair which are lace up.These are really good gloves. I reach for these, and I have 4 sets of gloves from various other brands at similar price points. I won't give all the brands here, but for sparring, partner drills, light bag work.....general training....I grab these. For heavy bag work.....I like a harder glove Fairtex BGV9, a Mexican style glove.....otherwise....grabbing these. Next step up would be reyes imo and then upwards to the more pricier stuff which I haven’t tried. Most gloves out there are junk so you can be assured that these are not lumped into that category. At the old price point of $100 and under, they were the best value on the market. Now for $119 ($149+ with metallic), the value isn't quite the same. At that price you're better off with a custom option such as Sabas, Top Boxer, or UMA.
